Chapter 3

The day went by, and Sunoo isn't too much happy about it. He admits, it is quite boring when you're not around your friends. He misses his Jay hyung and most importantly, his junior, Niki.

Packing his stuff, Sunoo immediately went out of the classroom, only to be stopped by Sunghoon. He looks at the taller guy who is giving him a wide grin, showing off his little fangs which Sunoo finds unique.

"Going home already? Why don't you join us for some coffee at a nearby café?" Sunghoon said as he tries to convince him. Sunoo checks his wrist watch before shaking his head.

"I can't. I need to be home at this time." He politely declines the older guy's offer. The handsome guy pouts while putting his hands on Sunoo's shoulders.

"Why not? Don't you want to know us more?" Sunghoon tries again. Sunoo chuckles for a brief moment before returning to his signature cold look.

He brushes off Sunghoon's hand before heading towards his locker, putting some of his book inside as he gets his tachi with him. Sunghoon watches him from a far before deciding to scare him, but his luck for today must be avoiding him. With his quick reflex, Sunoo draws his sword and pointed it towards Sunghoon. The empty hallway and the sound of the wind made Sunoo more intimidating.

Sunghoon gulps as he raised both his hands in the air, looking directly at Sunoo's cold eyes. Sunoo realizes what is happening and quickly withdraw his sword. He sighs before swinging it around his shoulder.

"You almost got your head cut right there, Sunghoon hyung. See you tomorrow. Good night." He bids his goodbye to the older boy as he makes his way towards the school gates where his butler and private car is waiting for him.

Sunghoon watches the car move away from his sight, chuckling as he finds the younger one feisty but cute. Sighing, he went to the café he mentioned to Sunoo earlier, meeting up with Jungwon and the university's student council president, Jake.

The moon rises, giving off its comforting light. This light passes through Sunoo's white curtains. He looks up at the celestial object, still missing the old environment he was in. But he is sure that he can adjust to his new one as well. His phone rings all of a sudden, making Sunoo jolt from his bed. It was his mom. He sighs before answering it.

"Hello mom? Yes, I'm already inside my bedroom. What? So you're not coming home for a month? Alright. Good night." And with that, he ended his call with his mom.

He was just told that his mom is going on a business trip to the States for a month. Which leaves him alone again in their new manor. He wants to invite Jay and Niki, but their houses are like a city away. And he doesn't want to become a burden to them both. He just decided to rest for the night, until he realized something. Before their class went home, Jungwon handed him his number. Maybe it's time for him to make new friends and let go of his cold persona? He'll think about it.
