Chapter 8

While everyone was eating, Sunoo opens up about the vampire roaming around their campus, which intrigued the others as well.

"Yeah, while we were in class, our professor talked about it too." Jake said as he takes a bite from his stake.

"I was curious to who the vampire was. I may or may not have an interest in mythical creatures." Sunoo said shyly, rubbing his nape.

Sunghoon periodically gives Jay death glares as they are only sitting across one another.

"What sparks your interests in vampires and mythical creatures, Sunoo?" Heeseung asked as he adjusts his specs.

Sunoo's ears started to heat up before letting out an awkward chuckle, clearly not comfortable to talk about the past events. Jay noticed this so he thought of an ice breaker to kill off the awkwardness Sunoo gives.

"We're the ones who introduced them to Sunoo back in his old campus— which is our campus." Jay said as he smiles at Sunoo. The lad immediately nods in agreement as he gets what Jay is trying to do.

"Is that so? Where did you came from, Jay? I mean, you look like you're a kid from the States." Heeseung asked the lad. Jay politely puts his spoon and fork down before answering Heeseung's question.

"I used to live in Seattle, then we moved here since my dad works here and wanted us to move." He explained. Jake excitedly raised his hand before pointing at Jay.. this action startled Jungwon who is sitting beside him.

"Dude! I knew you radiate homie energy!" He said excitedly. Jay chuckles before giving Jake a thumbs up.

As Jake was getting excited, Jungwon on the other hand is getting annoyed at how the older constantly bumps his arm– causing his food to spill.

"Okay, too much excitement." Jungwon simply said which shot down Jake's excited mannerism.

Sunoo chuckles before smiling at everyone. He likes that his friend and his new friends get along really well. Sunghoon suddenly asked Sunoo about vampires again.

"Have you encountered one yet, Sunoo?" He asked. Sunoo stares at him, biting his bottom lip before shaking his head.

"N-No. But I feel like there's one near our house. Cause one time, I was about to sleep when I see a sillhouette of a man." Sunoo explained. Sunghoon chokes on his drink, worrying Heeseung.

"Are you okay?" Sunoo asked.

Jay rolled his eyes before drinking his own beverage. Sunghoon recovers, catching his own breath after.

"Y-Yeah. I was just shocked that someone will go to that length." Sunghoon explained.

"Me too. I didn't know that 'someone' is able to spy on him." Jay said with a smirk.

Sunghoon looks at him for a moment before giving Jay's knee a kick under the table. Jay jerks up from this before glaring at Sunghoon.

"Okay, calm down everyone." Jungwon said, clearly referring to the two guys secretly fighting.

The dinner ended with Sunoo being confused to what just happened. He shrug it off as they all returned to the living room where the sleeping bags has been set by his trusty friend, Yuna.
