Chapter 20

Sunoo slowly regains consciousness, he felt normal and he find it strange. It is the next day and he is still imprisoned beneath Minhee's manor. He hasn't eaten yet so he is starving already.

He fixes his hair before remembering that Minhee bit him. He immediately checked if the bite mark was there, surprisingly, it wasn't and he also noticed that his wounds mysteriously healed overnight.

His thought were cut off when one of Minhee's men came in with a tray of food. This guy was shorter than him and is looking all innocent. The young boy smiles at him before placing the tray gently infront of him. When he was about to leave, Sunoo stopped him to ask his name.

"Wait, what's your name?" Sunoo asked. The boy cleared his throat before looking around.

"I'm Hyeongjun. I'm sorry that you have to suffer like this. I really wanted to help you but young lord will kill me." Hyeongjun explained with a hint of fear in his voice.

Sunoo was about to say something when they both hear the dungeon gates rattling. Hyeongjun immediately went out of his cell and hurried his way to the opposite direction of the gates.

"Well well, it looks like the young lord has been keeping you alive." A man said while crossing his arms over his chest.

"Well, of course the young lord will keep him alive. His blood is the most needed ingredients for the ritual." The other man retorted back. Sunoo ignores them both as he eats the food Hyeongjun gave him.

The day passed without news from the others. Sunoo started to lose hope. He saw a glimpse of the blood moon, which is still active up to this day, shining through a small crevice. He begins to experience a headache. So extreme that he fainted on the spot.

Meanwhile, Jay and the others are getting in contact with some of their friends and relatives who can help them. Including one of the elites.

"Let's just hope that aunt Jisoo will find out about this or else we're all gonna get in trouble." Jay said while putting his phone down.

They are all staying in Sunoo's place, waiting patiently for some news. Jungwon sighs as he looks outside the window, spotting a hooded man approaching the door.

"Oh, the guy that works for Minhee is here." He excitedly said which made the other guys look at him with a confused expression.

"What? What's your deal with him?" Heeseung asked the younger boy who is busy unlocking the door.

When he successfully did it, Jungwon smiles as he steps aside to introduce not one, but two hooded figure.

"Everyone, this are the guys I bribed. They are secretly working with us, and they both are working for Minhee. Hyeongjun and Sungmin." Jungwon introduced before letting them in the house.

Jay and the others looked at the two boys, examining and trying to read their minds. As a man who knows how to hex people, Jungwon snaps his fingers and immediately caught their attention.

"Are you sure that we can trust them?" Sunghoon asked as he stands infront of the two boys.

Jungwon lets out a wicked laugh before putting his arms over the two boys' shoulders.

"Trust me, Sunghoon. They are the key for us to get Sunoo back." Jungwon said with a smirk plastered on his face.
