Chapter 25

When Sunghoon finally open his eyes, he was shocked to see tentacle-like apparatus wrapped around Minhee's neck, as if it was choking and preventing him to move. When he tracks down the source of that, his eyes got even wider when he saw Sunoo covered in a type of substance, manipulating the arms like a puppet master.

"Sunoo.." Sunghoon mumbles as he tries to stand up and approach the lad. But Jisoo stopped him, telling him that Sunoo is fine and was trying to protect them.

"We need to move everyone!" Jungwon shouted as they evacuate the manor. The ground started shaking as a hole starts opening underneath both Sunoo and Minhee.

Disembodied moans and voices were heard as soon as the hole opens up. Minhee looks down and started doing the best he can to escape the grip. But it was no use.

Sunghoon watches in horror as vine like creatures started wrapping around Minhee's legs and thighs, pulling him down.

Sunoo smirks before landing his eyes to Sunghoon. The two of them stared at each other for a moment before Jisoo pulled Sunghoon with him, escaping what seems to be the fiery pits of hell.

"No! No! You won't take me! I won't go back!" Minhee angrily cries out as he kicks the vines wrapping around his legs.

"You have no choice. But you already know that." Sunoo said in a different voice. A mix between a man and a woman.

He then tightens the grip before pulling Minhee apart, causing his body to be divided into two. The vampire lets out a shriek, calling for his servants. But even they got sucked inside the pit.

Sunoo drops Minhee into the boiling lava, watching his disintegrate and turn into ashes.

"I will comeback. I will destroy you.." Were Minhee's last words before the pits closed, making the manor unstable and causing it to collapse with Sunoo still inside.

Meanwhile on the outside, Heeseung and Jake were being treated by Niki, who just arrived with the authority. Sunghoon stood there, looking at the pile of concrete that seemingly crushed poor Sunoo's body with it.

"Sunghoon, everything will be fine. I know Sunoo is alright." Jisoo said as he rubs Sunghoon's back.

The lad smiled at him, believing that Sunoo is really safe. Jay and Jungwon assisted the injured individuals. Heeseung and Jake are both fine, lying comfortably on a stretcher, on their way to the hospital.

When Sunghoon and the others are ready to leave, a distant voice was heard. They all stopped and looked back on the ruins. There stood Sunoo, with his clothes ripped but the boy was fine and smiling brightly.

Sunghoon quickly runs towards him, giving him a tight hug. The lad was taken back by the sudden action, but hugs him back anyways.

"Sunoo, are you alright? Are you fine?" Sunghoon asked worriedly while checking for any injuries.

Sunoo lets out a laugh before nodding, holding Sunghoon's hand which is now cupping his cheeks.

"I'm fine. We're fine." Sunoo replies with a smile. Sunghoon sighs before nodding.

"In that case, am I allowed to do this?" Sunoo was about to ask him but was met with a pair of soft lips against his.

His eyes widen before giving in as well. He felt like he was in ecstasy and was high when he tasted Sunghoon's lips.

The others cheered as they watch. Jay and the others smiled at them from a far, happy that everything is now finally coming to a close.
