Chapter 18

As Sunoo and Sunghoon are busy watching some shows on tv, Sunoo suddenly felt the urge to throw the trash bag. He stood up and told Sunoo he will just go outside for some fresh air and to throw the trash bag. Sunghoon looks at him with a smile before nodding.

When Sunoo left, Sunghoon takes a hold of the remote and switches the channel to a more suiting channel. Until he came across the news channel.

"Right now folks, the first ever blood moon in over a decade is finally back! The moon will reach its highest peak at 9pm and rest at 4am tomorrow. So grab your bowl of popcorn and watch the spectacular phenomenon."

Sunoo opens up the trash bin outside to throw the bag inside. He was distracted when a bright light appeared, shining down on him. He was in awe. The bright red moon in its full glory. He was hypnotized.

Suddenly, he hears the bush rustles. He looks at the direction, thinking that it is just a racoon. But the rustling became loud and heavy, as if there's a person behind it.

He knows what it is so he quickly tries to flee from the place. But all of a sudden, a pair of arms grabs him by the leg. He looks back and saw a very familiar face.

Back inside, Sunghoon finishes off the bowl of popcorn. He was about to stand up and get some more when suddenly he hears screams of terror from the outside. Suddenly, reality hits him.

"Sunoo!" He screams as he quickly rushes outside to see Sunoo being dragged to the woods by some unknown entity.

He was covered in black, shadow liked tentacles that wraps around his body. Sunghoon quickly dashes forward to try and save him, but it was too late.

He rushes back inside to inform Yuna, and then went to the telephone to call his friends and help him.

After 30 minutes of waiting, the gang arrives at the scene. Jungwon was worrying over as Heeseung and Jake thinks of an idea.

"Who do you think it could be?" Heeseung asked as he rubs Jungwon's back to ease him.

"Who else could it be? I don't want to jump into conclusions but it has a very strong chance." Sunghoon explains as they both communicated telepathically.

Jungwon stands up and grabs Sunghoon by the arm, making his face the lad. His eyes are burning crimson in accordance to the blood moon happening.

"Sunghoon, the blood moon is in effect! Of course the only person and vampire who has his eyes on Sunoo is non other than Kang Minhee himself!" Jungwon said as his grips tightens around the taller boy's arm.

Heeseung and Jake looks at each other before agreeing. They all have the same thought but Sunghoon was the one who doesn't want to jump in conclusions.

"Where is his manor located?" Sunghoon asked.

He turns around and was about to exit the house when a ripple in the air suddenly opens. Due to him being a vampire, he sensed it. He turns around to see none other than Jay himself lashing towards him.

Jay pinned him and started punching him. Jungwon and the others rushes in to stop the two from tearing each other's limbs apart.

"You fucked up, man!" Jay shouted as he tries to set himself free from Heeseung and Jake's grip.

"I-I didn't know." Sunghoon mumbles as Jungwon helps him to stand up.

His answer made Jay more angrier as he tries to lash froward again. But Jungwon steps in and punches Jay. The lad looks at him angrily, but then soften up as he comes into his senses again.

"Sunoo's life is in danger. And you both figure things out by fighting?! Are you two really cousins? You two should be helping each other!" Jungwon said as he both cups Sunghoon and Jay's cheeks.

"Alright. We will try and co-exist. For the sake of Sunoo! His mom will be so mad and will tear each of our limbs apart once she finds out." Jay explained as Heeseung and Jake lets go of him.

The only thing they have to focus on is saving Sunoo from the hands of Kang Minhee.
