Chapter 11

The weekends had passed and both Jay and Niki went back to their respective places. Sunoo was left alone again. He doesn't like it when people stays longer than the intended time he gave them. But after what happened, he is scared for his life. He doesn't feel safe anymore.

"Are you sure you'll be okay there?" His mom asked in a concern tone. She will still be gone for two more weeks.

"Yes mom..." Sunoo answered, not sure to why he said that. He wanted to tell his mom, but he is afraid that that will cause them to move out of their current place again.

"Alright, honey. I'll be home by Saturday two weeks from now. Bye. I love you.." But before his mom could hang up, he blurted the thing he was supposed to tell her.

"Mom, can I invite one friend here to sleep with me till you come back?" He asked. He heard a faint chuckle followed by a hum.

"Alright, sweetie pie. Do as you wish." His mom agreed. He lets out a sigh of relief before ending the call.

He looks out through his window before getting his back pack as he gets ready to go to school.

Upon arriving to the campus, he was shocked to the sudden change. The vines and moss that surrounds the buildings are now gone. The tainted white paint on the buildings are now fresh and new.

"Sunoo!" He heard someone called. He turns around to see Jake running towards him.

Jake then takes his back pack, swinging it on his bag. Sunoo blushed at the action before speaking to him.

"The campus looks brand new." He mutters as they walk down the hallways.

"Yeah. The school coordinator finally decided to redo the paint job. Jungwon and Heeseung hyung also collaborated." Jake explained.

When Sunoo and Jake stops at his classroom, Jake gave him a head pat before handing his bag back.

"Thank you, hyung." Sunoo shyly mutters. Jake then chuckles before bidding goodbye.

Sunoo enters the classroom to see his classmates studying for the upcoming exams. He is quite determine that he'll pass the exam so he did a little review.

"Hey, Ddeunu. You look cute today." Sunghoon greeted as he spots the shorter male.

Sunoo sighs before sitting, slumping his head down his desk. The older male tilts his head on the side before scooting closer.

"What's the matter? Do you still feel sick?" Sunghoon worriedly asked. Sunoo groans before turning around to meet Sunghoon's face.... which is too close for him.

He stared at his feature for a quick moment before backing away in an instant. Sunghoon lets out a laugh before ruffling the other's hair.

"Let me know if you feel sick again." Sunghoon said before going back to his seat.

Sunoo suddenly remembers the request he asked to his mom. He sighs before thinking about who he will invite.

"Hmm, will he be free?" He asked himself as he open up his booklet.
