Chapter 24

Sunoo runs towards the three of them, hugging them as he ball his eyes out. Sunghoon smiles in relief after finding out that Sunoo is all well.

"I'm glad you're okay, sweetie." Jisoo said as he brushes Sunoo's hair off his face.

Sunoo nods with a smile before wondering why there are only three of them present.

"Where's Heeseung and Jake hyung?" Sunoo asked as he looks around.

Jay bites his bottom lip before the door opened, revealing Jungwon, Seungmin, and Hyeongjun.

"Wait, where's Heeseung and Jake hyung?" Jungwon also asked.

The door bursts open with Minhee holding Heeseung and Jake's weak bodies together. A smirk was plastered on to his face before putting the two bodies down.

"Ah, it seems like you escaped the basement." Minhee said with a smug look on his face.

Sunghoon and Jay went infront of Sunoo as a way of protecting him. Jungwon and the others stood behind them as well.

"Sunoo, aren't you feeling any empathy? You caused all of this chaos. You almost got your friends killed." Minhee said as he walks slowly towards them.

Sunghoon and Jay's crimson eyes glow as they both watch Minhee's moves carefully.

"Sunoo, don't listen to him. He's just trying to feed off from your emotions." Jay warns as he looks back at him.

Sunoo looks at Heeseung and Jake, sympathizing their conditions. He then heard the same voice telling him to eliminate the cause. But he also knows that it was all his fault why everyone is dying infront of him.

When he was about to give in, his mom held his arms tightly, calming him down.

Minhee then lashes towards him, but both Jay and Sunghoon blocks Minhee from reaching the boy.

"Jungwon, take them out of here! Take Heeseung and Jake!" Sunghoon orders. Jungwon then nods as he makes his way towards Heeseung and Jake, helping both of them up while Seungmin escorts Jisoo and Sunoo out from the villa.

"Your wickedness will end here, Minhee!" Sunghoon said before pushing Minhee away from them.

The lad looks at them with veins showing off from his forehead, showing how in rage he is.

"If I have to go down in the pits of hell, I'll bring you both with me!" The lad angrily said before taking the metal rod off from the pole.

Sunghoon and Jay watches carefully, trying their best to analyze Minhee's quick move.

Minhee then turns his attention to Jay, running towards him with the end of the rod pointed towards his chest. He successfully evaded the attack, kicking Minhee across his back.

The lad winces in pain before using the rod as a spear, trying his best to stab Jay. Sunghoon takes the same looking rod, turning it into somewhat of a rod fight.

Meanwhile, Sunoo and the others are making their way towards the gate when he thought of going back inside to help the two. He cursed mentally before giving his mom a kiss on the forehead.

Jisoo looks at him in confusion before watching his son disappear in a blanket of black fog.

"You took everything too far, Minhee!" Sunghoon said as he pins the man on the ground. But Minhee kicks him on the stomach, causing him to be loose.

Sunghoon landed on his back as Minhee swings the rod and hits Jay across the head, knocking him out.

He walks towards Sunghoon with a wicked grin, stopping right infront of him with his arms raised, ready to stab Sunghoon.

The lad closed his eyes, waiting for the rod to go pass through him when he heard someone's choking noises instead.
