Chapter 16

As they both walk their way back to the car, Sunghoon suddenly feels tingly, as if someone is watching them closely. So he pulls Sunoo closer by the waist as he looks behind them.

"What the hell? What are you doing?" Sunoo asked as he looks at the older guy's hand. Sunghoon just gave him a smile until they reached Sunoo's car.

"Sorry, my bat senses are tingling." Sunghoon joked. Sunoo gave him a confused face before shaking his head, starting the car engine and driving back home.

"Bat senses my ass, hyung." The shorter male snickers. Sunghoon pouts before shaking his head.

The two of them made it back safely. As they enter the house, Sunoo feels like someone is watching him again by the bushes, so he immediately pulls Sunghoon inside, locking the doors of the mansion and bolting straight up to his room.

"Why are you such in a hurry?" Sunghoon asked as soon as they reached Sunoo's room. He was shocked when he saw the boy balling his eyes out. So he quickly pulls Sunoo for a hug, rubbing circles on his back.

"I think the same creature I saw is stalking me again?" Sunoo mumbles on Sunghoon's chest.

The taller boy looks outside the window, where a tall figure is standing, eyes bloodred. He gritted his teeth before closing the curtains. He calms Sunoo down until he falls asleep.

While guarding Sunoo, he noticed how flawless the other boy's face is. Smooth skin, rosy cheeks, and red natural lips. He saw how beautiful Sunoo is up close. The tear tainted cheeks and the scared look on Sunoo's face is what made him worried. After observing Sunoo, he decided to sleep as well with his arms wrapped around his waist.

The next morning, in the campus, Jungwon and Sunoo are walking towards the cafeteria, when the boy who literally gave Sunoo bruises on his wrist appeared.

"Hey, cutie. Where are you up to?" Minhee asked while putting his arms around Sunoo's shoulders.

Jungwon rolled his eyes before removing the taller guy's arms. Sunoo bit his lower lip as he chuckles nervously. He admits, Minhee's presence is too strong for him.

"Is it really your business, Minhee?" A familiar voice asked. The three of them stops before turning around to see Sunghoon with both Jake and Heeseung with him.

Sunghoon smiles at Sunoo before giving Minhee a serious look. The taller boy chuckles before approaching Sunghoon. The two did a stare down as Minhee glares at the two guys behind Sunghoon.

"Listen here, Minhee. If I were you, I will stop what I'm doing. It's not worth it to pursue someone and expected them to be with you." Sunghoon said quietly as Sunoo watches them not so far ahead.

Jungwon tugs Sunoo's sleeves as he tells him that they should leave the job to Sunghoon. Sunoo hesitated at first before nodding, hurrying their way to the cafeteria.

"And what makes you think of that?" Minhee asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"I know that the blood moon is nearing and you wanted a prey to feast on. That's why you keep coming to Sunoo's place." Sunghoon reminded him. Minhee was stoned at his place before quickly regaining his posture.

"I thought you wouldn't notice. Well, what can I say? Vampires tend to recognize each other from a distance, right Sunghoon? Right Heeseung and Jake?" Minhee said with a slight smirk.

Sunghoon gritted his teeth before grabbing Minhee by the collar, slamming him in the wall, making a slight dent on it.

"Listen here, punk. If something bad happens to Sunoo, I won't hesitate to behead you. Just like what my ancestors did to yours." Sunghoon threatened. Heeseung and Jake tries to calm him down by holding on to his arms, but Sunghoon being a full blood vampire has far way more strength than the both of them.

"Oh let me tell you, Sunghoon. Sunoo will find out everything about you and trust me, he will hate you for being a vampire." Minhee said before forcefully removing Sunghoon's hands on him, leaving him with Heeseung and Jake.
