«Bub! Have you seen my jacket?!»
It is the top of the morning. I am rushing back and forth between the closets in my room and the living room, looking through some boxes for my leather bomber jacket. Unfortunately, making a rookie mistake, I left my hero costume back at the school. Therefore, I have no choice but to make an alternative and wear my street clothes. Right now, I settle with my burgundy undershirt and black jeans with burgundy Chuck Taylors. All thats left is the jacket.
For some reason, this is the closest thing I can find to being presentable, at the same time, not minding getting a little frisky in.
Soon, I decide to gather my other things and have them set aside when I am ready to leave. My combat gloves especially. With that squared away, I can now focus on finding that damned jacket.
I turn around.
There Caleb stands with Silver holding the jacket on his back.
«Where'd you find it?» I ask.
«In my room.» He laughs. «The movers must've mixed some of our things up.»
I can only laugh. Petting my big husky, I pick up my jacket and put it on. The outfit of the day is set.
«Alright, I'm off.» I smile, grabbing my things. «Denki will pick you up from school. Stay with him until I get back. Or you can invite him in. And if you need anything, let me know, okay?»
Caleb smiles and nods. He comes in for a hug and tells me to be safe. I assure him that everything will be just fine. With that said, I take my leave.
Grabbing a taxi, I make my way to the station.
Honestly, if there is anything tougher than school and this internship, it is definitely the train system. Once more, I end up rushing to make it to the right one on time.
"Route to Shibuya. Again, route to Shibuya."
Thankfully, I reach it in time, one of the first there. While boarding, standing near one of the windows, my phone chimes a couple of times. I pick it up to see a few text messages.
[Denki⚡: Go out there and kick some butt. Good luck, buddy!!]
[Momo: Best of luck to you, Adonis. Make sure to learn lots.]
[BoomBoom Boy: Getting a head start, I see! Doesn't matter cuz I'll always be ahead of you.]
I smile at Momo and Denki's messages. When it comes to Bakugo's, well, I can only sweatdrop. My phone chimes again with another text from him.
[BoomBoom Boy: Oh yeah... good luck or whatever.]
At least he is considerate. I think. Soon trouble hits me harder than one may think. That trouble comes in the form of little space. All of a sudden, everyone pushes themselves onto the train before the doors close. Now, I stand squeezed between some random students and the wall.
It's a good thing I have a little room to get my earphones out of my pocket. Putting them in, I open my music, choosing a song. Ooh, let's listen to SHINee.
The ride takes about twenty minutes, even between stops. Though I let my mind wander throughout the duration of the trip, I keep my eye on the display board, hoping to see Shibuya coming across.
In time, it happens. Even I hear the announcer saying, "We've reached Shibuya. We have reached Shibuya."
Finally, I think to myself, smiling. Once I make my way out of the station, I become exposed to the busy and energetic atmosphere.
