Chapter XXVIII - Beginning of the End

Since the top of that morning, our professor has made his claims very clear.

We were going to put ourselves through hell.

In a sense, some of us have it easy in terms of strengthening. Take Iida and Asui for example. They focus on their strength and muscles. Iida runs long distances around the grounds and Asui climbs a side of a mountain. Shoji and Hagakure work together in a cat-dog manner. Shoji uses his dupli-arms to track her down as Tohru hides her presence away from him.

Though a number of us remain static in one place, it looks irritable just looking at them going over and over again. Momo and Sato must continuously eat sweets to improve their quirks. Momo amplifies her quirk and shortens the creation time as Sato simply enhances his strength. Meanwhile, Jiro and Ashido handle solid rock in the mountain. Jiro stabs at the rock while Ashido creates acid on it to increase her durability.

Pain is the word that others must go through to improve. Sero and Mineta endure unspeakable pain - Hanta, from his elbows, when producing tape nonstop, and Minoru, from his scalp, constantly removing balls from his head. Koda's voice takes a big toll when he does loud vocal exercises, expanding the range of his voice. The same could be said about Aoyama's stomach, which pays for the constant laser beams he shoots out.

The hall of pain then moves on to Denki and Ochaco. Kaminari is connected to a high voltage battery, running his electric current to endure his levels of electricity before frying his brain. As for Uraraka, she bounces around in a giant plastic ball amidst turning constantly in zero gravity. That way she can train her inner ear canals, reducing her nausea and increasing the weight she can nullify.

Though it may be painful, necessarily, these two work tirelessly. Kirishima stays hardened as Ojiro proceeds to attack him repeatedly. This way, of course, they improve their strength and durability.

Personally, I believe the worst comes to Tokoyami. He must control Dark Shadow at his strongest, held in a pitch-black cave. Just hearing his yelling and echoes in the cave alone fills me with much concern for him.

Now, I know you are probably wondering what is going on with the class' top 3. In simplest terms, Bakugou plunges his hands in hot water, expanding his sweat glands. There he creates massive explosions in the sky. Todoroki sits in a tub, going back and forth between his ice and fire, doing his best to regulate the water's temperature. And Midoriya...

He goes through a weird regimen in Tiger's Boot Camp. I guess he is training his muscles in that unique workout move, following with attacks and counters to the massive pussycat.

Then there are the last two additions to the class.

Silas is standing at the field's large lake. Though he can create water, manipulating and shifting it is another story. Sure, we have seen him create water swords and convert them into his water form, but we have never witnessed him handle a large body of water itself. Therefore, his challenge is to split the water in the lake like Moses and the red sea - surpass his limits and make the water become his will entirely.

And me... I have a keen sense when it comes to my Third Eye; however, I trouble myself with those with a weak aura or power. Aizawa has brought to my attention that foes can masquerade themselves with a weak aura. As a result, I am now in the dimmest area of the Beasts Forest, blindfolded, solely relying on my quirk. Pixie-Bob will be sprouting out small dirt monsters, of all different auras, as the fourth member, Ragdoll, will release arrows and other surprises all around me. I decide to challenge myself more and focus on defeating them in a calm and tranquil state of mind. So, I spend many times in a position of meditation.

Eventually, Class B and their teacher, Vlad, join us. This goes on from sunrise to sunset. Then once the twilight appears, it is time for us to conduct one last task.
