"Alright ms. Venable where're we going you better not be driving us out to kill us"
"Please y/n your still calling me ms. Venable after we've made out ? Call me Wilhemina for gods sake and why would I want to kill you when I've just got you ?"
"Alright Wilhemina calm down don't say that around Luna the four year old pit bull" I turned around to check on Luna and she was staring at me and Wilhemina
"Oh shit she's four wow well I hope four year olds like pizza I don't know shit about kids"
"Don't worry neither do I hey Luna you like pizza right babe" she moved her eyes away from me but nodded . Kids man . I laugh at her and turn back to Wilhemina and grab one of her hands that where on the steering wheel . Luna had to have gotten her possessiveness somewhere and that somewhere was definitely me . The whole drive I was holding on tight to Wilhemina's hand not letting go for anything . When we get there we get out and Wilhemina opens Lunas door because it was on her side and waited for me to get her out of the car seat . I grab onto Lunas hand with one of my hands and the other grabs Wilhemina's and we walk in . The lunch went by well , Luna stopped giving Wilhemina dirty looks but was still a little shy and just listened to mine and Wilhemina's conversations . While Wilhemina was eating she got pizza sauce on the corner of her mouth and without thinking about the fact that my child was sitting next to me , I leaned over the table and licked off the sauce and started making out with her right there until Luna started tugging on my skirt trying to get me to sit down
"Ew no mommy sit downnn" she said it giggling to I guess she isn't upset anymore thank gawd
"Yeah mommy sit down" Luna laughed at what Wilhemina said obviously not understanding what she was REALLY saying but I shot her a look like a 'I know you are not calling me mommy in front of my CHILD'
"Don't start something ms. Venable" she just smirked at me and continued eating . Eventually it was time to get back to work . We drove back in a comfortable silence other than Luna humming a song . How she went from giving Wilhemina the dirtiest look to humming a song in like an hour I will never understand . When we get back to work I put Luna on the couch and give her my phone again while I talked with Wilhemina a little longer before she went to her office . The whole day went by with me just responding to emails . That took the whole ass day because there was like 1000 but the whole time Luna sat there playing games to taking naps . It's nearing the end of the day so I shut off my laptop and decided to just stare at Luna asleep on the couch . The more I look at her , even though all I can see is her dad in her features , I can't help loving her more . Everytime I look at her I cry but before it was because I was sad but now I'm crying because I love her so much and I'm able to see her I'm her face and not her father . I'm brought out of thoughts by my beloved Wilhemina lighting knocking and entering the room immediately looking over at the couch at Luna
"You know ms. Venable I'm starting to think you love my child more than me" I started walking towards her and I wrapped my arms around her neck while her arms went around my waist kissing me before saying anything
"She's so beautiful even when she was hitting me earlier trying to protect you "
"Yeah shes my little protector . She's four but she swears she can take down anyone" Wilhemina starting smiling and looked over at Luna and I did too . She really is beautiful .
"Well now she doesn't have to be your only protecter . Now you have me and Luna to protect you and love you" I brought my hand up to start playing with her hair in a ponytail and my other hand up to her face
