They ask why she fell; when all they did was tear her wings.
They hate when she rebels, then congratulate her on her wins.
They know she can't be compelled to marry a man who wrings.
Yet they continue to tell her again, how she is just another thing.She musters up the courage and flaps her wings in their face.
All eyes turned in the grudge, stunned by her growing confidence.
Not society's sludge or numbed doll; in no need of your embrace.
