Just because you see me smile;
just because you see me laugh;
just because you see me dance;
doesn't mean I am fine.
See me again for a while;
spears stuck in, throat is guffed;
hear my chants? I'm lost in trance.
Didn't you notice a sign?!
I'm a puppet,
see me plummet.
Swaying in the world hostile,
by the people known for craft,
gashing my freedom by the lance;
didn't you see the confines?!
I'm a puppet
meant to plummet.
