Shoot us blind, deaf, and dumb.
Strike the pain, but we are numb.
Shoot us dead or cut our heads.
Sprout a spring that flows all red.
Tear our hearts and pour our blood.
It will seep through the mud and bring a flood.
Take our eyes but not our dreams.
Block our screams and ignore the streams.
Confine us not, for we shall chant.
In the valley of terror, the freedom we shall plant.
