Confession of depression

Don't look for an answer in my eyes,
for there is something, behind it lies.

Don't pass me a genuinely friendly smile,
I'm afraid I won't even sit with you for a while.

Don't invite me to hang out at the mall,
I won't even reply to your call.

I'm fine with the bed, pillows, and tissues,
'cause I know I can't run away from my issues.

I never solved a problem by jumping to a conclusion.
But I allow death to take me into seclusion.

Now look into the eyes so dead and still,
Finally, tears are drained out by the pill.

Smile genuinely, but don't twist it to weep,
stretch your lips, for there is a radiance to keep.

How ironic, this time I'm inviting you to my home,
obedient you are, to visit the graveyard and roam.
