Katherine and Caroline: The Hookup

The Truth *most likely the finale*

Katherine's POV: 

I woke up and me and Caroline were still cuddling. Caroline was asleep and I couldn't help but smile. Caroline just told me she loved me. I've waiting to hear those words since forever. She slept so peacefully and still keeping that short smile on her face. I didn't want this moment to stop, we both looked so happy. "So, are we official now?" Caroline asked, eyes still closed. "Yeah, if you wanna be." I answered. "Then we are." Caroline said, getting out of bed and putting in her clothes. "You realize we have to tell the truth now." Caroline said after putting on her shirt over her bra. I got up and put on my clothes. After I finished, I pulled Caroline into a soft kiss. "God, I love you." I whispered. I heard Caroline's phone ringing. I sighed as she pulled away from my touch. "It's from Bonnie."

"Hey Caroline, are you with Katherine?" I heard Bonnie ask. "Yeah, I spent the night at her dorm." Caroline answered. "Okay, can you two come to my dorm?" Bonnie asked. "Of course!" Caroline exclaimed. 

"Hey!" Bonnie said opening the door. Then she noticed that we were both wearing the same clothes from yesterday and that our hair was wild, but she didn't say anything, she just smirked. "So, how was the date?" Caroline asked coming in. "It was amazing, Olivia and I went on almost every ride at the fair. And we shared cotton candy. She was the sweetest and I can't wait for y'all to meet her." Bonnie said. I couldn't believe that I was just noticing how happy Bonnie is, I mean she's practically glowing. "So, there will be a second date?" Caroline asked excitedly. "Yes! There will be a second date." Bonnie said. Me and Caroline were trying to hide our hand holding from Bonnie, but Bonnie knew exactly what we were doing. "Let's change the subject, what going on here?" Bonnie said pointing at me and Caroline's hands. Me and Caroline looked at each other and I nodded, knowing what she was asking me. "Me and Katherine are together, like together, together." Caroline admitted. "Finally!" Bonnie said hugging us. "Yeah, we told each other how we felt last night. And now.." I said. I haven't been this happy in years, I can thank Caroline for this. "Oh, so no wonder why you and Caroline are wearing the same clothes." Bonnie said smirking. 

Author's POV: 

About 30 minutes later,  Caroline met up with Elena. She was going to tell her the truth. "Hi, Caroline." Elena said sitting down on a chair, at a table outside of the Mystic Grill. "Hey Elena, I have something to tell you." Caroline decided to go straight into it. "What is it?" Elena asked. "When I tell you, promise me that you won't get mad." Caroline prepared herself. "Now I'm getting scared." Elena said jokingly. "Me and Katherine are a couple now." Caroline admitted. Elena's smile dropped. "When did this happen?" She asked. "Last night." Caroline answered. "Okay." Elena said. "Is that it?" Caroline asked. "I mean I can't stop you from being in a relationship, so okay." Elena answered. "So, you're okay with it?" She asked. "Yes Caroline, I'm not looking to fight, I just want to things to be how it was between us." Elena said. "Thank you, Elena." Caroline smiled.

About an hour and a half later, Caroline, Matt, Stefan, Elena, Damon, Bonnie, Jeremy, and Katherine are were all at the Salvatore Boarding House. Caroline was going to tell everyone about her and Katherine. She was mostly afraid of what Stefan and Matt had to say because she basically killed Matt because of Katherine and she was pretty sure Stefan was going to figure out why she broke up with him. "Hey guys, I know you're probably wondering about why I asked to meet up for. And that is because I am seeing someone. And I wanted to tell you guys." Caroline said before Katherine coming out from behind a wall to next to Caroline. Bonnie had the biggest grin on her face, she couldn't wait for the day they'd be actually announcing them being together. 

"Well, that's ... something. " Damon said in a sarcastic tone. Stefan showed an unreadable face, he looked like he was trying to figure out how he felt about them. "Damon, stop it." Elena said, now all the attention was turned to Elena. Everyone, even Bonnie was shocked that Elena was okay with their relationship. "And you okay with this because?" Matt asked Elena. "Because Caroline's your ur friend and  we should be happy for them,  that's why." Elena answered. "I agree with Elena." Bonnie said. Everyone knew Bonnie wasn't going to have a problem with their relationship because they knew that Bonnie and Katherine were talking more, than ever. "I just have one question, how and when did you guys even started talking." Stefan asked. "About a month ago." Katherine answered. 

It took them about fifteen minutes to accept their relationship, but they did. Bonnie, Katherine, and Caroline left the house and got into Bonnie's car. "Well that went great!" Katherine said purposefully sounding like she's lying. Caroline playfully rolled her eyes. She couldn't help but be happy. She is finally dating Katherine Pierce. It felt right. And she was happy, more happy than she'd ever felt  with anyone else. Maybe the manipulative Katherine Pierce was the one for her.
