Amelia's POV
Snow was coming down heavily as I searched for him, spotting footprints in the snow, I followed them into the woods. The footprints stopped at a pile of clothes hidden behind a tree, he's running around naked...
The image that came into my head momentarily distracting me, until I spotted more prints. Wolf prints, he shifted. Following them, I walked deeper and deeper into the trees.
I heard a branch snap, turning, I came face to face with a wolf. Inching closer, I smiled, I had finally found him. Something in me made me stop, something wasn't right. That's when it hit me, that scent. It's the same one as before. This isn't my wolf, this isn't Oscar.
I took a step back, making the massive brown wolf growl at me. His eyes shifted from grey to black, before he lunged at me. Screaming, I turned and ran. I pushed myself, running as fast as I could. For a split second I thought I had lost him, my relief was short lived as I ran into another wolf. This one an ugly shade of yellow, he stood beside a man I had never seen. Something about his eyes made my skin crawl, they looked lifeless.
Both wolves were circling me, trapping me in place. Whenever I tried to run, they would snap their teeth at me.
"It's no use, angel, you have nowhere to run." The creepy guy was walking towards me, his black coat sweeping the snow.
"What the hell do you want with me?" I yelled.
"Personally, nothing. However, someone really wants you dead, paid us rather well in fact." I swear he shrugged his shoulders, as if saying it's just business.
The wolves were looking towards the creepy guy, seeing an opening, I ran. Not my smartest choice, the brown wolf leaped for me. Grabbing my leg in his mouth, he bit down. Hard.
Screaming, I tried in vain to get him off of me. The more I struggled, the harder he bit down.
"It didn't have to go this way, I'm not evil. I would have made it quick. But now I think I'm going to savour this." Creepy knelt down to lift me up, the wolf releasing me as I was lifted. He walked me towards a car parked not too far from us, the last thing I heard before my world went black was the most agonizing howl.
