Amelia's POV

"Morning!" Olivia's chirpy voice woke me up. I groaned as she kept talking.

"Come on, it's your first day. You don't want to be late, do you?" That made me wake up and remember where I was. Crap, first day. I looked over at the clock beside my bed that read 8am and I jumped up looking at Olivia who was already dressed.

"You're not a morning person, are you?" she asked, and I just shook my head. "Well, if you hurry, I'll walk you to the admin office to get your lesson plan." I stretched as I stood up.

I had decided that dressing up was pointless, as this is a school. Besides Olivia was wearing skinny jeans and a simple black hoodie, so I knew I didn't need to be too fancy. So, I threw on my lucky jeans and a blue shirt that hung off to the side, meaning my shoulder was bare, and a pair of bright blue converse. Once I was relatively presentable, we started the walk to the dining hall for breakfast.

"How are you so happy so early? I swear, if I had that amount of energy, my life would be insanely different. You scare me," I told her, as she led me through hallway after hallway until we reached the ballroom which was now a dining hall. Dozens of tables lined the room and the smell of bacon had me almost drooling.

"You sound just like my brother. He's not a morning person either," she laughed at me, as she grabbed a tray and went towards the buffet of food. I was starving. I really shouldn't have skipped dinner last night.

Following her, I filled my tray with a bit of everything, especially coffee. The biggest cup of coffee I could find.

"So, what you're telling me is that your brother is normal?" I joked, as we sat at an empty table.

She rolled her eyes at me as she ate. I don't think I have ever eaten that fast before. Olivia said that first period started at nine, so we only had twenty minutes to eat and get to the office before lessons started and this place was huge.

My phone made a buzzing sound on the table and I looked at it. Someone texted me but I didn't know the number.

Morning x, how's your first day so far?

Who is this?

Oscar, Sam gave me your number last night x.

I instantly felt my heartbeat speed up. What was this guy doing to me that I got so excited about a text? I knew I shouldn't reply. I didn't want to encourage whatever this was, but I couldn't stop myself.

Oh, morning. Not too bad though it's way too early for me.

Yeah, the days start early here. I'd say you get used to it but that would be a lie.

"Hey, you ready to go?" Olivia asked me.

I nodded as I stood up, walking behind her to the office.

I don't think I'll ever get used to it here. I've got to go to class. Bye.

Good Luck x

I couldn't help the smile that was on my face as I put my phone away.

"Okay, we are here. I'll wait for you. That way I can show you to your first class," she smiled, as she pointed to a glass door that read ADMINISTRATION.

"Thank you," I said, as I went through the door into the room.

It was a lot nicer than I expected. The walls were decorated in beautiful paintings and a massive wooden desk curved around the side.

"Hello, can I help you?" a woman asked. She looked in her mid-thirties with a kind smile on her face. Her hair was pulled back into a simple ponytail that made her high cheekbones stand out. Seriously, is everyone here attractive? I mean, what the hell. How is that even possible?
