"What's wrong hero, Is everything ok?" she says in a way like she's seen a ghost.

"Yeah, fuck everything's fine, since when do you talk to Josephine, and why Is she coming to stay with me, and why have you even been In touch with her!" shit i need to calm the fuck down, it's only Jo.

"You need to slow down, what has gotten into you? Ive been in touch with her for years, you just never care to be in any of our lives anymore. She's coming to stay with you because she's stuck in here with the lockdown and needs a place to stay. Plus she's closer to your home, i live almost on the other side of L.A."

"Why cant she stay with you?"

"I don't have enough room for her In my apartment, there's already 7 girls living here and you know how much she loves her privacy." I just know she's smiling right now.

"Then why didn't you tell me this, how the fuck does Morgz know?" I really hope there not talking again, they dated a few years back and things didn't go good.

"We've been talking... i guess?? I told him first because you haven't talked to me for over 3 years, even on the phone hero."

"Shit i know, I'm gonna go to bed I'll talk to you later Merc."

"Please start calling me more, I miss you."

Josephines pov —

Im sitting here. Parked In the lot of a apartment. Hero fiennes tiffins apartment.

If i had any other place to go I would. This covid stuff is stressing me out, and the thought of living with Hero and his mates make me feel sick. I love his friends, we were best buds when we were little. But things changed and i haven't seen them in years, and hero.. well let's just say we left off on bad terms.

"Get your ass out of this car jo." I say, pressuring myself, sitting in my car. I'm usually such a social person and love talking to people, but with these people.. not so much.

After sitting here for 15 minutes talking to myself I finally get the courage to get out. I only have one suitcase, not knowing i would get stuck in L.A. with all these covid cases.

I had Mercy text me his room number. No way i am texting him, it's not like i have his number anyways. I get into the elevator slowly pressing the rubber buttons. Your gonna be fine jo, youve known these people for years. I say talking to myself for the millionth time.

I slowly knock on the door, and of course the first person who opens It is hero.
