A bucket of ice cold water being thrown over him immediately woke Chester. It was difficult to see where exactly he was due to a large spot light that was shining right into his face.  He knew one thing though he was in deep trouble and he did not know if he was going to make it out alive. The room was full of wolf shifters, he could smell them, their smell was rancid to his senses and there were many of them in this room.

He was on his knees, his arms were held high, outstretched and he was chained to the wall. His shirt had been removed and a cool breeze blowing through the room made him realise his feet were also bare.

"Wakey, wakey vampire."  A male voice from beyond the blackness said.

Chester involuntary sucked in a breath as another bucket of water was thrown on him, the water was again freezing and he began to shiver.

"Well, who'd have thought it, vampires can feel. Thought you disease ridden creatures didn't feel anything. Aren't you already supposed to be cold?"

Again Chester deeply inhaled as yet again he was drenched and he began to gag when the werewolf stench hit the back of his throat.

The wolves in the room all laughed in unison as Chester threw up his last meal.

"I asked you a question blood sucker."

Chester's jaw was still swollen from the blow he had received earlier and it hurt to open his mouth, he still laughed though as he answered the voice, "cold water, is that all you have Lassie?"

The voice laughed, "no actually it isn't.  As you feel a little chilly, let's warm you up."

Chester began to panic and he pulled hard on the chains holding him, trying to free himself, when petrol fumes began to fill the air. Laughing echoed around the room as he struggled against his restraints but he could not free himself, no matter how hard he tried.

"I want to speak with Max," he cried out as a petrol can was placed In front of him, panic began to fill his entire body. "Please," he wailed when he heard someone continually flicking the lid of a zippo lighter. He soon realised it was Jack.

"Where is Max?" he asked as Jack sat down in front of him, crossed legged on the floor.

"He's is busy," Jack answered as he lit a cigarette. "So while we wait let's have a little fun."

Chester screamed out 'No, please' as Jack stood up and dangled the petrol can over his head.

"Aw come on now mate, don't be such a cry baby. Fire won't kill you but it will burn like hell."

"You should have told me immediately when I woke up," Jason screamed at Max as he struggled to free himself from Phil's grip.

Max was cowering in the corner of the room. "Jenny made everyone swear not too, she was worried it would push you over the edge. You had just woken up Jason, people were concerned for your health."

Jason prised himself out of Phil's grip and staked over to where Max was stood. He flipped the silver coin he was holding in his hand as he glared at him.

"I am going to push this down your throat if you don't start talking."

Max could not, now, even count on his fingers and toes the number of times Jason had threatened him and he looked over to Phil hoping for some kind of support.

"Don't threaten the lad Jace, it ain't his fault." Phil remarked, noting Maxs plea.

"Then somebody had better start talking and quickly, very quickly."
