Miya never called unless it was an emergency, so when Reki saw Miya was calling him, he panicked.

"Where's the emergency?!" Reki shouted, startling Langa, who was taking a nap.

"In my pocket!" Miya answered.

"In your what?" Reki confusedly asked.

"Just come and you'll see it, I need help!" Miya said, he sounded very worried.

"Okay, okay, dude, where are you?" he asked while he tried to wake up his sleepy boyfriend.

"At the skatepark, hurry up, please." and before Reki could say anything, he hang up.

"What's wrong?" Langa asked groggy, still trying to fight the laziness of the nap.

"I don't know, but Miya needs us." he explained.

When Langa finally woke up, they headed to the skatepark, not knowing what was waiting for them there.

The emergency really was in Miya's pocket. And it was a tiny kitten.

From Miya's hoodie pocket, they saw a little ball of black fur poking its head out, meowing at them.

"Awwww!" Reki and Langa said in unison.

"Isn't he the cutest?" Miya said in a fond voice.

"He is!" Reki said, squatting in front of Miya to gently pet the kitten's tiny head with a finger.

"Where did you find him?" Langa asked, mimicking Reki's pose to pet the kitten too.

"On my way to Joe's restaurant. A big cat was about to harm him when I heard him meowing for help. I waited for a long time just in case his mom returned to get him, but I think she has rejected him." Miya explained with a pained voice.

"Oh, no. Poor little buddy." Reki said pouting.

"Is he alright?" Langa worriedly asked.

"Yeah, it seems so. He doesn't look harmed, just scared and famished." Miya answered.

"We should give him something to eat." Reki suggested.

"Yes, but we can't give him regular milk, that could harm his little stomach. He needs kitten milk." Miya explained.

"Wow, you know a lot about cats." Langa said in awe.

"Of course I know a lot about them, I love cats!" Miya said, feeling offended.

"Okay, where can we get the milk he needs then?" Reki asked.

"Any vet should have it." he said.

"Then let's get the milk for our little buddy!" Reki said with his phone in his hand, searching already for the nearest vet.

After checking the kitten at the vet and making sure he was as healthy as he could, they got everything he needed and the three of them headed to Reki's home.

"Will you adopt him?" Reki asked Miya while he helped him prepare the kitten's milk.

Miya's smile faltered.

"No, my parents don't allow me to have pets." he explained, his voice was quiet and sad.

Reki sighed, knowing why Miya had seeked him out for help.

"You want me to keep him?" Reki asked.

"Would you?" Miya's voice sounded hopeful.

Reki let his hand go through his hair.
