Day 11: Wings

This was only a dream. This had to be a dream! There was no way this was happening! There was no way this was happening to her! "Please tell me this is a dream."

"Phili, girl, you make it sound like you've never seen a plane," America said while everyone around them was buzzing around. Both Countries were standing at the American military base located in Philippines's land and America had suggested taking a flight to their designated mission location.

"I have seen a plane but..." Philippines looked at the plane and could feel her stomach drop. "I just never rode one."

America chuckled before patting her shoulder. She whistled and the cockpit swung open, out came a man. He opened his mouth before quickly shutting it. Philippines could hear the man stuttering a bit before America dismissed him and told him to leave. He saluted to her and quickly climbed down from the cockpit before running away. How did she get him to listen to her?

"How did you do that? We're both in our human disguises. How?" America smirked before she started climbing up.

"Well, I may have made my president gave me the title of chief master sergeant. Just for this visit." She gave Philippines a hand, which she did, and pulled her up.

"Isn't this an abuse of power?" Philippines sat down in the passenger seat while America sat in the pilot seat. America just shrugged before closing the cockpit and started pressing a couple of buttons. "Meri!"

"Oh, come on! We're Countries! Not humans. It's not like I plan on using this title forever. As soon as we're done here, Rica Ai will be retired."

"You're evil sometimes."

"I'm not evil. Just chaotic." Philippines was about to say something when she felt the plane started moving. Philippines scrambled to put her seatbelt on as the plane went faster and faster. The moment it clicked, the plane was slowly starting to take off and the g-force started pushing her back into her seat. Philippines could have sworn the world started to blackout and she felt pressure on her chest. America must have noticed this because she said, "Breathe in and say hook. That should help with the g-force."

She did what she was told, slowly regaining her surroundings and she couldn't help but feel excited. The clouds were so white and everything below looked like ants. She could see the mountains and rivers stretch across the land. Was this what pilots get to see every day? It's so beautiful. "Do every pilot get to see this?"

"They do but usually they're more focused on their line of eyesight. You never know what could pop out in front of you."

"Then I would love to stay in the passenger's seat."

"Good to know. Maybe next time we have a day off, I can take you on a non-military plane and let you enjoy the flight more."

"Thanks. And how do you suggest we get down for this mission without alerting the enemy?"

"Oh...we'll jump."

"We'll do what?"
