Summary: Your sorority and the boys' fraternity have a joint spring formal, and Aaron finally meets the guys you've been hanging with all semester.
~
"You'll come as my date, right?" you ask Aaron over dinner one evening about a week before your sorority's formal event.
"Of course. What do I need to wear?"
"Um, like a sports jacket and nice dress pants? I have to ask," you tell him. "Obviously, I've never been to a Greek formal before."
"Let me know soon, okay? I'll probably need to go shopping."
"We can go together," you suggest. "I need a dress. And I'll ask about the dress code at chapter tomorrow night."
"Cool," Aaron says. "We can get what we need this weekend."

In preparation for the night of formal, you had asked Pope, John B, and JJ to meet you for lunch at the student union between classes.
"I'm bringing Aaron as my date," you explain to them around bites of pizza. "And, obviously, you've never met him before, so I need you to be chill."
"We're chill," John B says, slurping his soda.
You make a face. "Some more than others."
Pope smirks and looks at John B and JJ. "She means y'all. I'm not the wild one here."
"I'm not wild," John B says defensively.
"Neither am I!" JJ says, also on the defense.
You roll your eyes. "Pope's right. It's you two I'm worried about. When you're together you can be... a lot."
"I thought you liked that about us," JJ says, pouting slightly.
"I do. But this is my boyfriend, and he already doesn't like you guys because you're boys and I hang out with you a lot, which, I know, but can you guys just be cool when you meet him, and not embarrass me? I've really talked all three of you up, and I need you to not make me look stupid."
"I'll do my best," JJ promises.
"That's all I ask."
"I got you, y/n," John B says.
Pope nods in agreement. "I'll keep these two in line. Especially this one," he says, nodding his head towards JJ.
"What's that supposed to mean?" JJ asks, clearly offended.
"Thanks Pope."
"Wait, what does that mean? Why the head nod towards me, huh?" JJ asks.
"J, you're the loose cannon of the group," you say, and he gives you a deadpan look.
"Fine." He crosses his arms over his chest dramatically.
You share a look with the other two boys. "Okay, now that that's settled, moving on. Pregame?"
"Come to the house beforehand. Aaron can come, too. I think someone's getting a keg, and then the bus is coming to take us downtown."
"Cool. We'll be there."

You're nervous as hell the night of formal. You try to appear calm for Aaron's sake, but inside, you were anxious. You worried that Aaron wouldn't like your friends, or that one of them would say something out of pocket that he didn't like. You'd told the boys to tone down the inside jokes, but there were so many unknowns, you couldn't help but be worried.
