I am behind af on requests, sorrySummary: JJ starts acting distant, and you have to get to the bottom of it.

You hit the ground running at the new semester. You got your social calendar at your first chapter meeting, and it was jam packed with various things you had to do with your sorority; you had a fundraiser event, spring recruitment and rush, the new member welcome party, spring formal, and a tentative weekend retreat. All of that, coupled with your full course load, plus carving out time for your own personal social life already had you feeling frazzled even though you were only a few weeks in.
On this particular evening, you and JJ were going to the gym together. You were more into taking a yoga class, or running on the treadmill or elliptical, whereas JJ liked to hit the free weights, run the elevated track, or take a boxing class. Needless to say, you didn't really cross paths much once you got to the gym, but you always set a designated time and place to meet up once you were finished so you could grab something from the smoothie bar before heading home to shower.
At the main entrance, you both set your phone alarms and agree to meet in two hours, as you usually do. With a quick kiss, you head off to one of the yoga rooms, and JJ goes upstairs to run before boxing. Two very sweaty hours later, you head to your meeting spot and grab a seat near the entrance to wait on JJ. You didn't think anything of it that he wasn't there yet, so you pull your phone out of your bag to scroll through while you waited. After a while, you make note of the time, noticing he's a full twenty minutes late, which isn't like him. He was usually no more than five minutes late, apologizing profusely for whatever it was that held him up. You glance around, finally spotting him a few minutes later. He's stalking towards you, with a frown tugging at the corners of his mouth.
You stand up as he approaches, removing your AirPods from your ears and slipping them back in the case. "Hey, where ya been?" you ask. He blows right past you, heading for the main doors to exit the building. You scramble to follow him, stuffing your towel in your bag and hoisting it up on your shoulder quickly. He's a quarter of the way across the parking lot by the time you get outside.
"Hey, JJ!" you call to him, starting to jog so you can try to catch up. Your legs still felt like jelly after nearly an hour on the elliptical.
He looks over his shoulder at you, slowing his pace enough so you can walk with him the rest of the way to his truck. He digs his keys from his gym bag and tosses them to you. "You're driving," he says, his tone flat.
Okay then. He didn't let you drive his truck super often because he said you were "a little unaware of your surroundings" because you hit a curb ONE time and scratched his rim. In your defense, you drove a little car, and his truck sat up high and it was hard to see out of from your height. You couldn't help it that you were short.
Sensing he's in a mood, you just hum out a response and toss your bag in the truck bed, then climb into the driver's seat and start up the engine. JJ huffs and puffs, muttering to himself as you back out of the spot and head towards the road.
He's silent the whole way back to his apartment. You slide out of the truck and hand him the keys before grabbing your bag from the back and following him inside.
He drops his gym bag onto the floor of the living room with a loud thud, then flops down onto a kitchen chair and sighs heavily. You take the seat across from him.
"Did you go a little hard on the punching bag?" you ask, eyeing his torn up knuckles. "Why didn't you wrap them? I thought you just bought new tape."
He looks down at his hands, examining the busted flesh. "I did. Just hit too hard, I guess. I'm gonna shower. You don't have to stay."
Huh. "Oh, um, okay. I guess I'll go, then."
