We finally get to our destination after 2 hours. It's now 4 and I'm about ready to get out this car.
" Silas? " I turn to him and ask.
" Mhm? " he takes off his seatbelt and turns to me.
" where are we? " I murmur.
We pulled up to a cliff. A cliff? Well if he wanted to kill me i guess he's about to get it over with. Dammit I still never-
" Kalani?? " Silas says snapping me out of my thought. I turn towards the window and look out, " well if you're thinking that I brought u here to kill u then you're wrong, I actually brought u here to show u where I sit and think at most of the time. "
" Really? U brought me here... just to sit and think?? When we could've continued doing that at the restaurant? " I say appalled.
He shakes his head and gets out of the car. He comes over to my side and open the door for me.
Taking off my seatbelt, I step out of the car and turns towards him, " You know u don't have to keep opening the door for me right? "
He shrugs, and closes the car door, " I know, but it's you I'm opening the door for "
Before I can asks what he means, he takes my hand and leads me towards the end of the cliff. I realize what he's doing and, slowly let's my hand go and put it behind my back and walk in the back of him. He noticed and winced silently but made no comment and continued to lead me to the edge.
" I- um I just wanted to come and talk. Ask how you've been. Have a conversation with u. A real one, were we aren't arguing or yelling at each other " He rubs the back of his head a looks away.
I nod my head and step towards him, " okay " he snaps his head towards me, " we can talk. But only talking " He nods his head with a small smile and tells me to wait.
A minute later he comes back with 2 pillows and 2 large blankets.
" Seriously? " I state in disbelief.
" Yeah I've kind of been meaning to ask u to lunch, so I was prepared " He says.
I guess that's fine. I appreciate the thought.
He's still an asshole tho?
Yeah yeah I know but it was a nice gesture.

He smiles and nods his head to where to sit.
