McDonalds?

Sila's Pov

" Kalani " I whisper.

" lani wake up " She stirs in her sleep and releases a few whimpers from here and there. I shake her lightly and she bolts up quickly.

" Hey, it's late I was just waking u up.. You okay? " I ask quietly.

She nods briefly and rubs her eyes. Kalani fell asleep a couple hours ago, I've been awake this whole time. She looked pretty tired and I thought maybe she could sleep a little.

She looks at her phone and her shoulders slump a little. She looks at me and huddles into the jacket more, " what time is it? " she then says.

I pull out my phone and check the time, " 9:23, it's getting late u hungry ? "

She shakes her head, but right after I hear her stomach growl. I smile a little and stand up, " come on, i know a good place we could go to "

" really? McDonald's???? " She exclaims. I look at her and laugh.

" hi welcome to McDonald's what can I get u? "

I turn to her and nod my head towards the menu on the screen.

" Just a sprite. "

I roll my eyes and turn towards the speaker, " can I get a 20pc nugget, 2 large fries, ummm a Big Mac, a large sweet tea and a large sprite. "

" yes will that be all " the lady asks.

" yes thank u "

" Pull up to the window "

I pull up to the window and wait for the food. I look over at Kalani and see her sleep already..

Beautiful.

" here u go " I turn and see the food being handed to me.

I take it, pay and pull off to a nearest e out parking lot.

" Lani wake up " I shake her a little and she slowly opens her eyes and sits up.

I put the food towards her and hand her a drink.

" Silas I just said a sp- "

" Eat. Please? I know your hungry "

She hesitates but listens and takes out the fries.

" I got u nuggets because I know how much u loved them when we where kids "

She whispers a quick thank u, and she pulls out the nuggets and ranch.

I watch her while she eats and she turns to me after a couple minutes.

She takes out the other fries and puts them towards me.

I smile and take take them.

" How's rowan? " she then asks.

" she's doing good. Pain in the ass but good. Glad she's with me "

" That's really good. What about your mom? "

Tensing a little bit at who she mentioned , I put on a fake smile and turn to her, " she's good "

She nods and continues to eat.

" I have a show tomorrow and I need to go get more make up shit so u ready? " She says as she's putting the food away into the bag.

I nod, wipe my hands and start the car.

Idk if I wanna keep doing the continuous replaying how the situation goes in a different persons POV the whole book so I think I'm changing a that.
