Chapter 5

What is this a crime scene?.. My eyes are still blindfolded. No use to use my powers. My hands are tied up with ropes. If I try to burn it I would be hurt. What should I do.

I heard the door open. I pretend to be unconscious.

Voice 1: I think she's unconscious.

Voice 2: Let's just carry her.

Their voices seemed familiar. But no choice. I used my powers on them. They let go of me. It seemed awesome but I manage to stand up.

Still, they manage to get hold of me.

I don't wanna hurt them too much. Because their voices seemed familiar.

They brought me to a place where you can feel the heat of the sun and you can see a shade of it.

The guy untied the ropes on my hand. And he whispered something to me.

Guy: Happy Birthday.

Then, he removed my blindfold.

Voices: Happy Birthday Chrystal!!

There I saw my classmates and also our adviser. I was shocked! Me as an ordinary student received such a great previlage to have a suprise party with our adviser in it. All of them were happy.

I saw a table with lots of snacks. Yummy.. Even though I just ate breakfast I felt hungry again...

We took the subject time of my adviser to celebrate..

We eat, drink, play and dance.

Best birthday ever!

Sebastian: I'm sorry I didn't give you any gift.

I saw Nicholas on his way to us. But when he saw Sebastian he just looked away.

Me: Is there a problem with Nicholas?

When I asked that question he showed me a weak smile.

Sebastian: Do you like him?

That made me think. Do I like him.?

Xander: Chrystal! Ma'am already told us to clean up!

Chrystal: Sory Sebastian.

He just nodded.

Adviser: Chrystal on the last period. You will be tested so don't be late and get ready!

Me: Yes, ma'am.

FASTFORWARD

It is the last period. I'm getting ready. Our adviser told me to wear our P.E. uniform. But instead of wearing jogging pants my adviser told me to wear shorts to move easily while the test is going on.

I am now in an isolated room. This room can change into different environments. And it also can use weapons against you.

I saw a glass. Oh, I see the operator and my adviser.

Operator: State your name.

I answered while stretching.

Me: Chrystal Marie Woods.

Operator: State your power.

Like what is the use of my adviser. The operator keeps on asking why won't she ask my adviser?

Me: Electricity and Fire.

I saw them whispering.

Operator: Your room for today is the Room of Weaponry.

I was shocked. No first year student had experienced the Room of Weaponry. The first thing they experienced is the safari, the ocean but why the room of Weaponry!

Me: Are you sure?

Operator: I can see no problem.

Did this operator studied to ask questions? She didn't gave me a single question since I entered this room.

Operator: Let's proceed. There will be a countdown. So get ready.

I closed my eyes when the countdown started.

I opened my eyes..

I was shocked when the room didn't change it's form at all.

Wait! Maybe there are traps here.

Operator: One last reminder. You must find and get a blue pendant to be able to end this test.

What!?

I made a step forward. The blue pendant appeared with no guard. This seems to be easy.

When I ran towards the pendant. Then, stopped. Realizing that, every step that I take the more kinds of weapons that appear and the more weapons protect the pendant.

So this is why it is hard.

I took another step then all of the weapons started to shoot me but don't worry I'm not gonna die here. Our adviser gave me an invisible shield. But it can only resist 100 hits.

I stopped for a while and examined the room. Arrows on the upper row and different kinds of guns on the middle part and I am facing at the pendant.

Me: Ouch.. Damn the shield is wearing off...

I used my fire power to burn the arrows... Luckily it worked.

I tried it on the guns but it didn't work. Really?!

I tried to use the walking on walls technique that I just learned. Good thing the place was built with metal so I will be able to magnetize myself to the walls. I saw that the guns can't turn 360° but only 180°.

I'll just go behind the guns. So the guns on the other side will shoot the guns on the other side.( the guns point and shoot to where I go.)

So when I was behind the other guns they destroy it. I was running behind the guns because they don't have brains they don't know they're killing their own kind.

The arrows are back again they're on the floor and they made the metal walls into wood. Time to do the Ironman style..

Ohhh,it worked.

A little more inches and I will grab hold of the pendant.

When grab my hand a gun tried to hit me. Yes, it hit me before it could shoot me many more times I destroyed it with the use of electricity. I grabbed the pendant!

Chrystal: Yes!!!

Operator: You are bleeding please proceed to the clinic and we will just tell the results tomorrow because of your injury.

Yes! I succeeded on my first test!
