Chapter 17

I suddenly stood up while holding my right arm with my left hand.

Me: Yes! I am the chosen one. And I am not going to give up until I defeat you!

COM: Huh? You still have the guts to defeat me?

Me: Have a problem with that?

He chuckled and looked at me.

I teleported to somewhere he can't see me.

COM: Your running away from me huh? Coward!

He screamed. I saw a necklace that was around his neck with a rainbow color with it. I teleported near him and grabbed the necklace. That startled him. My kinda felt dizzy when I touched it. But I was able to recover in no time. He tried to push me but I dodged that push and teleported a little bit far from him. But I am sure that I am visible to him.

I grinned when I realized that the necklace is very important to him. In othet words. His weakness.

Because I was a level five teleporter. I am able to teleport things near me by looking at it. I concentrated myself I knew this was easy. I guess I am having a hard time because I am already hurt and the necklace has a weird effect on me.

I slowly closed my eyes and put my left hand in front of me. I slowly opened my eyes when I felt something hangin around my fingers.

Then I saw the necklace. When I saw it. Its like while I was in a dream then a memory showed up. I saw a man begging to a person.

Man: Please! Spare my family!

Person: Alright I will spare your family but you need to wear this necklace and never see your family again. Or even remember them.

Man: But can I say goodbye?

Person: You can. I will give you this necklace as a sign of our deal.

That is when I saw the necklace. And now I am in another place. A wrecked place. I turned and saw the man begging for mercy. I think that is his family. I think he is saying goodbye. The mother and his 3 children started crying. The youngest (I think) ran towards her father and gave her father a hug. The man was crying and just pushed his daughter away. I didn't notice te tears that are already falling from my eyes. That man has a sad story.

I just saw the man wearing the necklace and he shape-shifted to different characters. In different individual. Different powers. That's when I realized he isn't the COM. He is a victim of it.

I woke up and saw the worried faces of my friends and also my sister's. I also saw Nicholas, Xander and Sebastian topless because their wounds were still healing. There were bandages around the upper part of their body. There are also scratches, wounds and bruises on the different parts of their legs.

Shan: Hey everybody! Chrystal's awake.

She said while poking the others.

Xander: Chrystal are you ok?

I was still in the state of shock. He is not the real COM. Yet, I had a hard time defeating that guy.

I feel also sad for that individual. He was used by the COM for the sake of his family.

Sebastian: Chrystal!

He said while while shrugging my shoulders.

Me: Ouchh! Sebastian!

I said while slapping his cheek.

Sebastian: Oww!

Me: My wounds idiot many are on my shoulder!

Sebastian: I'm very sorry.

Nicholas: Have you learned anything?

Me: That was not the COM.

I saw their shocked faces.

Xander: That's impossible! That man was very strong! He is the reason for all of this!

He said while pointing out his bandages.

Chrysty came towards me and smiled.

Chrysty: Let's talk about this later and I will try to heal those wounds.

I tried to sit when I felt something in my hand. It was the necklace with the rainbow color. I think Shan saw it.

Shan: Hey! What's that!

She reached out for the necklace but I pulled away from it. Everybody noticed the necklace. They were like hypnotized when they looked at the necklace their eyes were full of desire upon getting the necklace.

Shan: Let me touch it.

Xander: Yeah! It looks nice!

Chrysty: I'm your sister I know you trust me.

Sebastian: Don't be selfish.

Mika: Were your friends! Nothing to fear!

Nicholas: I think that would be a wise decision!

Everybody kept on walking towards me. I was scared so I just back up. I can't use my power cause I can't cpncentrate cause my wounds still hurt.

I felt the wall behind me. Oh No! I'm trapped. I closed my eyes and kept the necklace in my pocket.

Until I heard the door creek so I opened my eyes and say a guy and he told me to cover my ears. I don't know what got me but I followed his command. I also closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes after I felt soundwaves and also heard it. I looked at my friends they were unconcious.

Guy: They are alright.

When I saw who that person really was I hugged him. I missed this guy!
