Chapter 18

Chrystal's POV

Me: Luke! Are you okey? I haven't seen you for 10 years!

Luke: Hey is this your birthday party? What happened? I thought that they would kill you in a second right there.

Me: Is today my birthday?

Because of the situation I forgot about my own problem.

Luke: 19th of June right?

Me: Yeah it's my birthday today.

Luke: Then why did you forget about it? A person's birthday is the most memorable day they have..

He said while acting to be a poetic person. I chuckled as I recalled the past.

FLASHBACK

Me: Coco! Luke! Lets go and play to the new playground!

I said while pulling them to the new playground that is just around the corner.

I stopped when they stopped.

Me: What's your problem?

I said while putting my hands on my waist and poutibg my lips.

Luke & Coco: What's our problem!? You have a problem not us!

They screamed. And you can see that their irritated.

Luke: We just played like.. a minute ago!

Coco: Were very tired! Do you get tired at all!

Me: Uh-uh!

I said while shooking my head. They just chuckle.

Luke: We could never resist you!

He said while pinching my cheek.

Me: Oww!

I said in pain.

Coco: Just remember! We will always be the best of friends!

He said while hugging.

Luke: Lemme Join you!

We just nod at Luke so, he joined in the hug.

I wish we will always be like this. But everything changed since the day that Coco and Luke had a fight.

Coco was pushing Luke away from him.

Luke: I actually don't mean to say that Coco!

He said while kneeling down. He also joined his hands and said.

Luke: Sorry!

This is the scene that I only got into. I immediately insert to the scene.

Me: Why are you fighting?

I said while standing between them. I also spread my arms to stop them in case that Coco will attack Luke.

Coco: Its none of your business!

Then, he pushed me away. I began crying then they both looked at me. Luke made his way to me when Coco stopped him.

Coco: Don't you dare go near her!

He said while staring badly at Luke. Luke ran away from me to the garden which is visible from where we are standing.

Luke: I.. I will be leaving to District 9 tomorrow..

He shouted those words which made me cry more.

Me: You said we will be together forever!

I shouted with all my might. I ran to my house crying. My mom saw me while she is cooking dinner for us. Mom turned off the stove and approached me.

Mom: Why are you crying dear?

She said while patting my shoulder. And she also lowered down for us to be in the same height.

Mom: Its your friendship anniversary you shouldn't cry like that.

She said while combing my hair with her hands.

Me: There's no anniversary happening today. Just don't cook for us three. They fought. And they didn't give me a reason why they fought. They said we will be together but..

I said while sniffing.

Me: But.. they just disregard those words.

I rushed up to my room and cried there.

END OF FLASHBACK

At first.. I chuckled. But at the end I became teary-eyed and also made me curious of what was the reason of their fight.

Luke: You ok?

Me: Yeah I'm fine Luke.

Luke: Let's go to my room and heal those wounds.

I just nod and he guided me to his room. We already arrived at his room.

Luke: Wait for me here. I'll just get some bandages.

I just nod and my phone rang. The necklace and my phone were in the same pocket. I was shocked when it was glowing just like when the Man we fought wore it. I saw that it was Nicholas that's why I answered it.

Nicholas: Are you alright!

He shouted that's why I pulled my phone a little bit away from my ear. So they are conscious now.

Me: Yeah I'm fine.

Nicholas: Good thing. I heard that you just go out the room with a guy whom you called Luke. I thought they were crazy cause Luke died a year ago in a plane crash.

Me: Your kidding he's with me but he just left the room to get something.

Nicholas: No I'm serious.

When he said that I sat like a statue and I dropped my phone. I can here that Nicholas is still calling my name on the phone. And the last thing I heard was.

Nicholas: Trust me! He's dead!

If he's dead then who am I with? He came in the room.

Luke: Chrystal?

That's when I knew that wasn't him. He never knew my name was Chrystal. He thought of it as Chrys only.

What should I do?
