Nicholas' POV

"She's in trouble." I said in a trembling voice. Chrystal.. she's in trouble.. what should we do.

"What do you mean by she's in trouble!" Her sister screamed at me with anger. I just look at her with my face so worried.

She sat beside me. I saw Xander calling somebody on his phone.

"Who are you calling?'' Mika and I said in chorus.

"I'm calling the best defense in this City." Xander said seriously.

"We can't do.." he cut me off. "Got any other option?" He said seriously.

"No but.." I stopped when Sebastian tapped my shoulder.

"You can't do anything... when you see him serious like that.." Sebastian said those words while looking at Xander. He was so serious. When he was done talking the guy on the phone. He looked at us.

"I have a plan" Xander said while placing his palms on his knees.

We all made our way closer to him.

He told us the plan. I admit it! That was a good plan.

"Are you all in?" He asked us and look at us.

"Were in!" We said in chorus. We all heard a scream from the other side of the house.

I ran towards the door but Shan stopped me. "Don't destroy the plan!" She said that, while holding me back.

I heard another scream. "No one is going to stop me." I said. "Let him be!" Xander said while looking at me.

"But if anything goes wrong its all your fault!" He added.

I ran to the other side of the house and I saw a room. I opened the door and saw the person that we think is the COM bursting fire on his hand.

"Good bye! Chosen One!" When he said those words. I wasted no time and ran towards Chrystal. I held Chrystal while facing at the man while saying this chant. "Chlonorumn rhonopinus!" This chant revives any esper you are holding because she holds lots of powers that is only enough for her to recover several wounds.

Oh no! It didn't work. Instead of reviving she fainted.

"Ha! Nice work! You let her suffer for me!" He laughed out loud.

"What dou you mean I killed her! That was a reviving spell!" I screamed at him.

"Are you joking! You just sent her to eternal slumber! The chant for reviving her was Chlonarumn Rhonapinus! Thank you!" After he said that he disappeared.

I look at Chrystal. "I let you get hurt! I'm sorry! I'm very very sorry.. I didn't know what I said. I should've assured first if that was right" I said while the tears are falling from my eyes.

I saw Xander at the door. "What did you do!" He said while pushing me away Chrystal. I also wiped my tears away.

"I did something wrong." I said in shame.

"Of course you did! If you followed with the plan she would be.." "Dead right now!" I cut him off and screamed those words.

We had complete silence. Until he said this "What did you do?" He said calmly but I know he is pissed off.

"Eternal Slumber" I said.

"What!?" He hissed in an angry way.

He breathed deeply and faced me. "I will just bring her to your clinic here." He said while carrying her. "Follow immediately maybe something would go wrong... again" he added.

I was planning to go out of the room but when I saw a necklace on the ground I stopped. I looked at it and somebody keeps whispering in my mind saying Wear me.. in a hypnotyzing manner. I wore the Necklace because it was so persistent and beautiful.

I felt the urge of destroying the chosen one.. destroying Chrystal.

I keep fighting that feeling but it gets the rest of me. Until, I completely lost my mind.

The necklace corrupted my mind. I want to be more.. more than anybody! Higher than anybody!

The chosen one is the strongest person in this city.. if I am going to defeat her I would be the most powerful! I won't let this chance slip away especially that Chrystal is just close to me.

I want to defeat her! Kill her! So nobody would stand in our way.

The COM and my fellow brothers and sisters' way.

I assure.. whoever stands in our way should start praying to their gods cause they going to be killed.

I came in the clinic with all eyes on me.

"Nicholas! Why did you do that!?" Chrysty said while shrugging my shoulders. I pretend to be really sorry.

"Oh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" I said.

"That wasn't sincere" Mika said while holding my shoulder. For somehow I felt dizzy.

"Let go of me!" I shouted while slapping the hand of Mika.

"Are you ok?" Shan said.

"More than ok." I said while showing my evil smirk.
