Chapter 2

FASTFORWARD

Yes another day at school. When I entered the room everyone gave me good vibes. Except for Nicholas. What's his problem. He started being like that since we started picking partners.

Oh, maam is here.

Teacher: Class please sit beside your partner. That will be your permanent sit from this year until the end of this year.

So our seat is me then Xavier next to Xavier is Sebastian and at the back of me is Nicholas.

Teacher: You will help hand in hand on knowing each other’s powers. You will be using the gym and you will share the same closet and changing room with your partner.

                All of our reactions were “WHAT!?” “REALLY!?”.

                Teacher: Don’t complaint and go to the gym, closet and changing rooms right now.

                When the teacher told us to. We followed it.

                When we were on the changing room of course we have to do it at the same time because we were late and they have to close it. So we turned our backs and willingly changed my t-shirt. Then, I changed my skirt into jogging pants. When I turned around. I saw him still topless. He actually have abs. Then, he turned to me and told me that we must go already and I said k.

                When we arrived he put his right hand on my right shoulder. When he did that I felt a spark flowing in my body and I just heard him say “OW!”. I was shocked cause I was sure that it was like electricity flowing through my body. But I was not hurt but only Xavier got hurt. I gone near him and he laughed and shouted to my teacher.

                Xavier: Ma’am, I think we have your first student to discover her esper power.

                When he told that to the teacher I started to understand what kind of happened. Then, I just saw our teacher come towards me with a smile. She pulled me and Xavier inside the principal’s office.

                Me: Can I try my powers on you?

                Xavier: OK. But don’t let it sting too much.

                So I touched him and did what I did before. He again shouted “OW” which caught the attention of the principal.                      

The principal stretched out her hand to me. Then, I also stretched out my hand to her. I felt something landed on my hand. It was a stamp. I just saw my hand with a mark saying "Congratulations, for a new record."

Me: What is this for?

Principal: You have a record for the earliest student to discover your esper power.

Me: Really?!

        Because of excitement I hugged Xavier. I think we were in that position for 1 minute I think. When our teacher made a coughing sound I let go of him. And I think we were both blushing. But still I can't believe that at the very second day of classes I received an award.

FASTFORWARD

AFTER CLASSES

Xavier and I decided to fin an "our" place for our partnership. We walked around the whole district to find an our place. But still none.

Xavier: Oh, I remember a place that is nice to be an our place!

Xavier held my wrist and pulled me to wherever we are going. Then, we stopped at the beach. When we arrived he sat on the sand. I watch in amazement because the sunset is happening at that time.

Xavier: Did you like it?

Me: I don't like it. I love it!

I hugged him again. Then, I watched my watch to my shock it was already 6 pm. Gosh, Dad is going to get really angry.

Me: Xavier, I'm sorry but it's already si...

Putting his index finger on my mouth saying

Xavier: It's okay. I understand.

Then I ran as fast as I could to my house and saw my dad standing at the door.

Dad: Where have you been?

( Oh, my strict dad is at it again but I know he is only doing this for my own sake. But for the real thing he is a good and loving father.)

May as well. Tell the truth.

Me: Dad, Actual....

Chrysty: Oh, Chrystal you totally came on the right time. Sorry dad I asked Chrystal for some materials.

Dad: So that's the reason. Okay...

Chrysty: Thank you daddy.

She said while hugging daddy. After that she pulled me to our room. Then,locked the door. here we go again.

( Chrysty is a very supportive big sister. She helps me in times of trouble. That's my oneee- chaaannnn.)

Chrysty: Why were you late? Is it a boy? Do yo...

Me: None of the above.

Chrysty: Don't let me read your mind.

(Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you her esper power is reading minds - Level 3.)

Me: How can you read it when I am not thinking of it. 

Chrysty: Ahhh.... I wish that I was a level five to rip the memories out of you.

Me: Yeah, you wish.

Chrysty: At least I have a power. Unlike you, you haven't discovered your power yet.

I laughed as hard as I could . Because of that I remembered that I am going to have a test of my level on Friday.

Chrysty: Are you crazy?

Me: No, I laughed because you thought that I don't have an esper power yet but actually I do. I stared because I remembered that they are going to test for my esper level on friday.

Chrysty: Really? In a very very early time. If it is true then try it. 

Me: Moron my power is electricity. I haven't really tried it. Maybe my power will drain the electricity in the house.

Chrysty: Then, Let us go to the backyard.

        We went to the backyard and prepared some rocks. Why? because her challenge for me is to break those rocks on one hit. Well, I did not back down because it would be also a practice for me.

Chrysty: Go on with it already.

Me: Ok ok.

        I took a deep breath and watched the rocks to be aimed. When I felt the right to use my power. I hit 3 out of five rocks once.

       Then, I saw mom and dad running towards us.

Mom: What just happened?

Dad: Are you all alright?

Mom; What was that noise?

Chrysty: Dad, Chrystal was only using her new power.

Dad: Chrystal has an esper power already?

Me: Yes, I do dad.

Dad: Why didn't you tell us?

Me; Because I was going to tell you but Chrysty pulled me to the room.

Dad: Okay. If that's your reason. So you two go to your room and sleep there are classes tomorrow.

After that we kissed them both and said good night.
