Chapter 29

Chrystal's POV

I woke up shocked cause I didn't see Xander looking at me interestingly. To admit it not only shocked but disappointed.

I stood up and took a walk around the house to look for him. When I realized he was not around the house I stopped and became worried. The Adrenaline I felt before came back and it was more intense, maybe because I knew Chrysty was not here.

My feet trembled. I sat to the ground which was more than like I fell.

Me: Where are they?

I rolled myself up. Losing my friends was dreadful enough. Why? Also Xander and Chrysty? Loneliness rolled over me. I know theyre in danger. My tears went rolling down and I felt somebody held my shoulder.

For a fact.. A familiar prescence that I didn't feel for a long time. I know this prescence!

Me: Grandma!!

Then I hugged her crying. Yes.. She is dead but she keeps on visiting me. Scary and weird but I got the hang of it. Grandma Willows is one of the persons I cherish the most. She's the one who made me the chosen one.

Grandma: Hush now dear.

I tried to calm myself and talk to her.. Ask her. Of all the things I never took advantage of her. I know she knows a lot.. But never have I asked her one bit. She just gives me information and helps me in difficult times.

Me: Grandma..

I said as we sat down.

Grandma: I know dear and I will tell you a riddle as my answer.

I nodded slowly and listened carefully.

Grandma:

Through two guards there may rest.
A gate to the forest.
You shall find what you seek.
Hence, not on the first peak.
But across the river.
Where the trees don't wither.
Peak with a secret door.
The ground which you take floor.

And which have been told starts.
Of which you will take part.

Me: You mean..

Grandma: Yes dear. So please don't fear.

Grandma chuckled and I became scared again. The time has come.. For me to defeat evil. Grandma was disappearing as a sign that she has to go.

Me: Wait! Grandma! What forest!?

She was out of sight but I heard a voice.

Grandma: The accident dear.. The accident.

I remembered the accident. The accident where we were car crashed. It happened near a forest.

I prepared myself. I studied reviving spells, sleeping spells and other spells that can help me.

I decided to just walk to the forest since it was just close by. Many noticed me. I could feel that there are eyes pinned on me. I ran to the forest.

I was cactching my breath when I reached the forest. Grandma said there were two guards as I looked around nothing.. No guards. Maybe when she meant by peak she meant by mountains.. But there was nothing. I sat at a bench. I crotched and held my hair.

Two peaks.. Accident.. Two guards.. A gate?.. A river.. Trees that don't wither..

I closed my eyes hardly. I don't know such a place. I felt energy coming towards me so I dodged it. I turned around. Its a girl.

Me: Excuse me?

She hid behind a bush. Another energy came from the other side I dodged it again. I turned around and again it was the girl but with longer hair?

How did she do that?

They both showed up at the same time. So.. They are twins and they look so cute together.

Me: Hello!

I said as I waved my hand. They hit me again together.

Hold your hands forward and don't dodge.

Someone whispered. And I trusted that voice.

I held my hands forward and I didn't dodge it. It was getting closer so I closed my eyes. I didn't feel anything that hit me. I opened my eyes and saw that I was controlling their ball of rock whuch they used to hit me with.

Me: Woah...

I said in shock.

They both came closer to me and looked at me with confusion.

The Twins: Esper Willows?

They know my Grandma!

Me: You know my Grandma?

The twins: So, You are not Esper Willows?

They sound cute when they sync. I smiled at them and said.

Me: Nope! I'm Esper Chrystal!

I sat in order to have the same height with them. They touched my hair and their eyes turned blue.

The twins: You are the chosen one..

And the twins let go of my hair and looked at me and their eyes returned to the green hint it had.

The twins: That's what you think.

Me: What?

The twins: Didn't Esper Willows tell you?

Me: Tell me what?

I was starting to get scared and startled.

The twins: You are not the chosen one.
