Chapter 24

Xander's POV

Chrystal: I'll go alone.

She said as she got out of the van.

Me: You can't go alone. It's too dangerous.

I said while following her. I was able to reach her hand so I pulled her closer to me. I back hugged her. She keeps on pushing me but I won't let her go.

Chrystal: Please.. Let me go. They need me. It's my fault why they are in danger. They want me. I must go there alone. Alone in order for no one else to get hurt.

She said while crying. I faced her to me and wiped her tears.

Me: Hey.. I'm your partner, remember. If I get hurt I don't care. And also because I love you. If your the death of me.. It's okay.

I said that with all of my heart.

Chrystal: I love you too..

She said as she totally escaped my hug by stinging me with electricity.

Chrystal: Get mad at me later.

She said while placing the tip of her index finger on my forehead. I felt myself fall. I became dizzy and my sight grew dimmer and dimmer. I just saw Chrystal walking away from me. I gathered up all my strength to say these words.

Me: Don't leave me... Please.

I was hoping that she would stop but she didn't..

Chrystal's POV

I reached the Italian Restaurant that Shan talked about.

Voice 1: I never thought that this would work.

Voice 2: Me neither.

Voice 1: I thought that Boss was only joking when he said when Espers smell this scent they wouldn't be able to use their powers.

When I heard that I took a step backward because of shock. I stepped on a can which made a sound. That caught their attention. I magnetized myself on the ceiling. Then I smelled something that's very foul. I lost grip of the ceiling. I fell down.. luckily on the two boys. I immediately stood up and stepped on their private parts which made them scream.

Me: I don't really rely too much on my powers.

Radio: Are you guys ok? We heard screaming at your section.

The other guy tried to reach the radio but I got it first.

Me: Tell them that your ok. If you won't don't even dream of having children.

I said with a grin.

Guy 1: Were ok.

Radio: You sure.

Guy 2: No! Were not okay please send back-up right now!

I glared at the guy who said those words.

Me: Oh! Wrong Move..

I said while stretching my arms and turning my head left to right.

"Ahh!" He said as I pulled out his hair. I pushed him to the wall. In other words he became my punching bag until his back-up came. My powers came back because I wasn't able to smell that foul scent.

Me: How unlucky you are.

I just froze them all. That was easy.. especially that they are all plebiators.. I think. I saw another group of people...

Me: Again with that scent!

5 men surrounded me. What I didn't expect is that somebody was behind my back. I felt the presence of the rainbow colored necklace. I screamed as I felt someone hold me from my back. Someone wore the necklace to me which made me collapse and to be unconscious.
