Lennon's pov

"I'm so fucking nervous," I whisper to Andy as we wait in the wings, watching for our cue to take the stage and perform on the Tony Awards.

"You're gonna do great," he whispers back, squeezing my hand reassuringly. "Everyone's gonna do great. This whole show is going to go great. And you're-"

"Shut the fuck up love birds and let's get on stage!" Leslie laughs from behind us and we all hustle onto the stage.

The crowd is incredible and I honestly have never preformed better. We finish and receive a standing ovation, Andy squeezing my hand tightly as we bow. We troop off stage, grinning excitedly. One of the guys, Chad, pulls everyone into a group hug and someone takes a picture, making everyone laugh.

Andy kisses me, his lips salty with sweat. I kiss him back, grinning giddily.

"You're fucking amazing," he murmurs.

"Not as amazing as you," I kiss his nose.

He laughs, setting me down and we both walk to the dressing rooms to get into more appropriate award show attire. The other girls help me into a black red and gold ombré dress and black pumps. I put my hair up in a French twist, leaving a few stands free in the front and redo my makeup.

I meet with the rest of the cast and we all walk back into the theater. Andy and I, being nominated, sit with Jason and Harley and the producer beat the front while the rest of the cast sit closer to the middle of the crowd. Andy looks gorgeous in a black suit with a red bow tie. We slide into the row and he takes my hand as we sit. We sit through two awards and performance by the cast of Frozen; the Musical before the nominees for best leading actress in a musical are called. I'm the last called and I clutch Andy's hand tightly. My hands are shaking so badly! Andy takes both my hands in one of his and wraps his other arm around my shoulder, pressing his lips to my temple.

"And the winner is," the woman says, opening the envelope. "Lennon Balakwe!"

I grab Andy and kiss him before getting up and making my way to the stage and accepting my award.

"Wow, oh my god! Okay, I am so thankful to everyone who have been a part of this amazing experience. I couldn't have asked for a better cast to work with. Jason and Harley, you're freaking fantastic! And Andy, you're the love of my life and I can't thank you enough for putting up with me and everything I put you through. Thank you so much!" I smile and leave the stage.

I sit back down with Andy and kiss him again, grinning. There's another performance and then the nominations for leading actor in a musical. Andy's hand tightens on mine as the woman opens the envelope.

"Michael Teron!"

Andy's hand slackens and he relaxes as the winner walks to the stage.

"I'm honestly glad I didn't win," he whispers. "I'm not a real actor. Someone who does this for a living should win it."

I smile at him and kiss his cheek. We sit through a few more awards and three really good performances before the big award; the award for best new musical. Neil Patrick Harris is the presenter and he grins as he opens the envelope.

"Wretched and Divine!" He shouts and our section erupts in applause.

Andy grabs my hand and pulls me onstage along with Jason and Harley and the rest of the production crew.

"I am just so proud of everyone who helped make this show a success, Black Veil Brides for their amazing lyrics, Johnny for the arrangement, Harley for managing to keep me sane, the amazing cast, especially Andy and Lennon for being such amazing leads and thank you to everyone who came and supported the show. Thank you all so much."

Andy grabs my hand and pulls me up to the mic with him.

"I just want to thank everyone who supported the show but most of all I want to thank my beautiful girlfriend Lenny for being so amazing and not saying no when I asked her out the fourth time," he turns to me and smiles. "I know I messed up the first part of our relationship and I could have been better when we started the show, but you are the most amazing girl I've ever met and this show has been so amazing because of you. So, Lennon Balakwe, would you do me the extreme honor," I bends down on one knee and I automatically start bawling. "Of marrying me?"

The crowd sits in silent awe as I look down at him, my heart racing.

"Of corse you dumbass," I choke out as tears begin to spill down my cheeks.

He smiles with relief, slipping an intricate silver ring onto my finger. he stands and kisses me, the whole of the Tony Awards audience cheering hysterically. I've honestly never been happier. We walk back to our seats, Andy's hand in mine.

I really don't pay attention to the rest of the awards because I'm too fixated by the ring on my finger and my now fiancé's hand clasped in my own. He's the most amazing person I've ever met and I honesty cannot even begin to imagine what my life would be like without him.

We leave soon after, people I've idolized since I was a child congratulating me and Andy on our engagement. Neil Patrick Harris insists on having us over for brunch sometime and Liza Minelli tells me to give her a call so I can come over for tea. Idina Menzel congratulates us and tells Andy that she'd love to record a song with him. I am legitimately in heaven.

We go out to dinner with the band and then all head back to the loft. Ashley's ecstatic about the engagement and keeps clapping Andy on the back and hugging me.

CC keeps jumping around and chanting "Andy's getting married! He's getting married to Lenny!" Over and over.

Jake and Jinxx are discussing Andy's old girlfriends and the differences and similarities between them and myself.

"There was that Vivian girl who could kinda sing," Jake is saying, ticking off girls on his fingers. "And Regina could dance."

"Regina was a stripper," Jinxx laughs.

"You dated a stripper?" I laugh incredulously.

"I was young and impressionable and famous," he laughs, pulling me closer to him and kissing my neck.

"She was like way older than you too," CC giggles.

"Oh so you like older women?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Not anymore," he says awkwardly. "There was a bad experience."

"And what experience was that?" I look at Ashley who's grinning manically.

"He hooked up with this chick at a club, she took him home, and he woke up to her son screaming that he wasn't his daddy and why was mommy kissing someone who wasn't daddy?" Ash laughs hysterically. "He forgot his pants while he was leaving and had to take the bus home in his underwear."

"Awe!" I cry, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing his cheek which is burning bright scarlet. "Poor baby!"

"It was horrifying," he grumbles.

"I bet," I grin at him. He's amazing. I'm not sure what I did in a past life to deserve him, but it must have been fucking amazing because I did way too much shot in this life to earn his presence in my life.

"What?" His voice jolts me from my thoughts.

"What?" I repeat.

"You're staring," he grins. "I know I'm sexy but I didn't realize I was that districting."

"You're a fucking asshole," I punch his shoulder.

"Ow!" He yelps. "What the fuck was that for?"

"To remind you that you're human and not some districting rock god," I giggle.

"Wait! I'm not a god? I could have swore I was immortal yesterday," he answers.

"You didn't realize that gods have to give up their immortality when they fall in love with a normal person?" I ask, grinning.

"Well then darling," he grins back and wraps his arms around me. "I think I've been a mortal for much longer than a day."

"I love you too," I say and kiss him.
