Andy's pov
She's pregnant. She was with someone and now she having their baby. She's supposed to be having our babies. Not some idiot who pops out of her past to knock her up and disappear. I'll find him. I'll fucking kill him. I'll find him and I'll kill him. If I don't kill myself first.
I've locked myself out on the balcony, overlooking the Central Park. It's a great view but I honestly only come out here when I really need to think. Yes, I honestly do want Lenny to have my kids. I want to marry her and have kids with her and grow old with her, but first I need her to love me like I love her. This crazy unconditional way that drives me crazy every time I'm near her and can't hold her and kiss her and just know that she's in my life. She's fucked up in ways that compliment the ways I'm fucked up. Like the piece missing from my puzzle.
I hear a light tap on the door and turn to see Lenny standing at the door hesitantly. I unlock the door and turn back to the view. She stands next to me, not saying anything. Her eyes are red, like she's been crying and she's biting the inside of her cheek. We stand in silence for a long time.
"Please don't hate me," she whispers.
"I couldn't hate you," I answer just as quietly.
"You're mad though."
"Of corse I'm mad. Pissed, actually. But I'll get over it. If it was my baby, I wouldn't want to get rid of it either."
"You'd look so sexy pregnant."
I look over at her and grin. "Maybe I should get pregnant."
"You have a vagina and the ability to get pregnant now?"She giggles slightly.
"Would you like to find out?" I look at her suggestively.
"You're aware that there is a human being growing inside of me right now and that sex was how it got there right?" She raises her eyebrows at me.
I roll my eyes. "Have you told the guy yet?"
"No," she looks away.
"You should tell him," I say. "He needs to know."
"He's not mature or anything. He won't be able to handle it," she says quickly.
"It doesn't matter. He needs to know. Seriously, call him right now. I'm here if you need me," I scoot over and nudge her shoulder with mine.
"Only because you're here," she answers under her breath and pulls out her phone. She dials the number and then waits for an answer. She grabs my hand as the phone rings. "Hey Aaron... No I'm cool, I just, something happened right... No... No... You're a fucking idiot Aaron. No I did not get AIDS. Who the fuck would I get AIDS from?.. Can I just tell you, like god damn how high are you right now?.. Oh really?.. Uh hu... So that's how it is? The next time I see you I will punch you in the fucking face... Yeah, it is obviously because you're so damn pretty and I don't anyone else to have you... Alright... Jesus Aaron let me just tell you what I called to tell you!.. Jesus Christ... Aaron, you have to promise not to freak out okay?.. I didn't kill anyone. Why does everyone think I killed someone?... Sure... Aaron. Shut up. Look, you know when you were here and... Yes... That... Well, we seem to have made a mistake. I'm pregnant... No, I'm not getting rid of it... You don't have to do that... I can handle it, seriously, you don't have to... O-okay... Bye."
I look at her questioningly. Her grip progressively began to cut off the circulation in my hand as the conversation went on.
"He-he's coming to make sure I'm okay. He'll be here tonight or tomorrow. He's staying at his house in Connecticut," she says shakily.
