Well it's been a hot minute, holy shit. I haven't even opened the app in like two weeks, but when I did and saw the comments on my last update and it made me really happy. I had completely lost motivation to keep writing but I've decided to pick my ass up and finish what I've started. (If you understood that I love you).

A while has passed with Frypan and I exchanging our stories with Chuck's. We sit in a small living room on beat up couches and chairs. Chuck is sitting right beside me, and I hold him close. I've missed him.

Unfortunately Frypan and I had to break the news about Winston, and then Teresa. I couldn't quite read the expression on Chuck's face, but it looked hurt. I pulled him even closer to my side, feeling his fuzzy hair tickle my cheek.

"Has Gally taken good care of you?" I ask Chuck, still having mixed feelings about Gally.

Chuck shrugs. "I'd say so. I mean, he feeds us when there's food. And he tucks me into bed each night."

"He what?!" Frypan and I smile and say in unison.

"Does he really!?" Frypan chuckles from the seat beside Chuck. Chuck nods slightly, probably concerned for our sudden bursts of energy.

"Oh my goodness," I laugh while shaking my head. "That's downright the most adorable thing I've ever heard. I never would've thought Gally would do that."

"He's changed," Chuck replies softly and genuinely.

"I always knew he was a softy," I giggle quietly.

"Okay okay. Enough about Gally's softness," Chuck laughs. "I wanna hear about you and Newt. You guys kiss yet?"

"Chuck!" I exclaim, feeling my cheeks flush.

"Actually Chuck, they did," Frypan says smirking.

"Fry, I wasn't sober!" I inform him.

"Hey- you still kissed. And Newt was completely sober..." Frypan replies.

"When was this!?" Chuck exclaims, sitting up from his spot in my arms.

"Remember that guy Marcus we were just telling you about?" Frypan mentions to him.

"Oh my god! Well was it like... did they like make out?" Chuck asks.

"Chuck!" I say, feeling even more heat rise in my cheeks.

"Yeah, they totally did!" Frypan laughs.

"Guys stop! It doesn't matter, okay!" I exclaim. "It meant nothing to him--"

"So it meant something to you?" Chuck asks.

"No I— that's not what I said!"

"I'm pretty sure that exactly what you said," Frypan smirks.

I sigh. I'm never going to win this. These two are gonna find out eventually— but it's not like they don't already know. With my heart pounding out of my chest, I say, "Fine. I'm in love with Newt. Happy?" My voice sounded calm but my hands were quite literally shaking out of control.

Neither boys talk at first and I don't dare look at them.

"Wha-" Chuck says finally. "Your admitting it...?"

"Forget it," I say, keeping my eyes on the floor. "It's not like anything's gonna happen."

"What makes you say that...?" Frypan asks quietly.

Shaking my head, I finally look up at him. "It would ruin our friendship." My voice sounds filled with sorrow finally hearing the words come out of my mouth.
