"Jeremy, get your butt down here now" you say as Jenna walks over to the two of you

"Forgot this" Jenna says handing Elena her book as you open the front door to see Uncle John standing here

"Elena, (y/n)" he says smiling at the twins

"Uncle John. Hi" Elena says shocked

"Jenna" John says to her

"John. You made it" Jenna says unimpressed

"I said i'd be in by noon" John says walking inside

"What you say and you do are typically two very different things" Jenna says as Jeremy walks down the stairs

"Uncle John, what's up?" Jeremy says and patting his shoulder as he walks over to the twins

"Hey" John says to Jeremy "I had some business in town. I thought a visit was in order" he tells them

"How long are you staying?" you ask him

"I don't know yet" he says

"Okay, well, we're gonna go to school. We'll see you later" Elena says as you two walk out of the house with Jenna shutting the door behind the two

"I made a copy of a paper that Jeremy wrote for me" Alaric says as you and Elena stand in his classroom "I think the two of you should take a look at it" he says than hands you the paper and reads the title

"He was very clear that he didn't think it was real" Alaric tells them

"I really hope you're right, because we have done so much to protect him from all this" Elena tells him as she hands back the paper

"So how do you deal with it?" Alaric asks them
