━━━━━━━━━━ You are waiting in the hospital for Elena as she is talking with a nurse about Alaric.

"Hey, how's Alaric?" you ask walking towards her

"Resigned to spending the night in observation, so long as we promise to change the locks on the house" Elena tells you making you nod "So I talked with Bonnie earlier. Her and her mom are fine"

"Oh that's good" you say with a small smile

"Have you talked to Caroline?" Elena asks you

"Yeah. She's holding it together, considering how close she and her dad used to be. Any word on who was behind all these attacks?" you ask her

"No. Sheriff Forbes said that there's no real suspects at all" Elena tells you

"Well that's fantastic" you say with a small eye roll

"What happened to your finger?" Elean asks you

"Oh, i cut it while cooking. It's fine" you say waving it off

The two of you then get to Elenas car where she gets in first but something grabs onto your neck pushing you up against the car and you look up to see Rebekah.

"Rebekah" Elena says moving around the car

"Surprised? You drove a dagger through my back,     (y/n). It hurt" Rebekah says and goes to bite your neck but she is pushed off

"Leave" Eljiah says looking at her but Rebekah just gives him a look "Are you challenging me?"

"You're pathetic" Rebekah says looking at Elijah then to you "Both of you"

Rebekah leaves and you look over to Eljiah as he turns to you and Elena.

"So, welcome back" you say with a smile

"I believe we have a little catching up to do"

You are standing in your kitchen with Elean and the two Salvatore's telling them what Elijah had told the two of you.

"It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin" you say leaning on the counter

"As in the original witch?" Stefan asks you

"How is she even alive? I thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out a thousand years ago" Damon asks confused

"I don't know. I'm guessing she has a couple of connections in the witching community" you say with a shrug

"Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family, including Klaus" Elena adds on
