━━━━━━━━━━ After leaving Caroline's in the morning, you made your way over to the boarding house to see Damon. Walking inside you move upstairs to see Damon fast asleep in his bed.

You take off your shoes and jacket moving the blankets and slide into the bed next to Damon as he is laying on his back.

"Baby" you say kissing his cheek and Damon lets out a little groan "Baby, wake up"

Damon opens his eyes and moves his head to see you laying next to him in the bed making him smile. He rolls over and wraps his arm's around you pulling you close to him.

"Good morning, angel" he says moving some of your hair out of your face

You place your hand onto his cheek pulling him in for a kiss and Damon kisses back immediately tighten his grip around your waist.

"What are you doing here?" he asks as the two pull away

"Stefan called Elena at the crack of dawn waking us all up and i couldn't get back to sleep so i came over to see you" you tell him

"I'm happy you're here. I missed you last night" he tells you making you smile

"I missed you too"

Damon then sighs happily and places his head in your neck and you wrap you arms around his head planting a kiss on top of it also.

"I still don't get what we are doing here" you say walking into the Lockwood's who are throwing another historical party

"Well, for starters we both are part of the founding families. And Elijah is going to be here" Damon tells you making you stop in your tracks

"Elijah's here?" you ask him and he nods his head "Oh, i don't want to see him. He scares me" you tell him

"It's okay, baby. I won't leave your side the whole time" Damon says cupping your face in his hands "I promise"

"Do we have to be here for long?" you ask

"No, i just want to officially meet Elijah then we can leave and do whatever you want" he tells you making you smile "There's that beautiful smile i love"
