"Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse" Elijah says to them

"Elena said that the Sun and the Moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus" Stefan asks him

"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it... He'll be a true hybrid" Elijah explains as Damon walks into the room

"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie" Damon then asks

"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying" Elena tells him

"I'll write her a great eulogy" Damon says making you sigh

"It's not an option, Damon" you tell him

"Alright, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asks breaking their conversation

"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know" Elijah tells him

"The moonstone"

"A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each" Elijah continues

"And where do (y/n) and i fit into it?" Elena asks him

"The final part of the ritual" Elijah says then takes a wooden box from the shelf "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgängers... To the point of their deaths"

You take a step back closer to Damon where his wraps his arm around you back as Elijah opens the box and pulls out in jar.

"And that's where you come in" Elena says with a nod

"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina and Florence. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation" he tells her

"So we'll be dead?" Elena asks him

"And then you won't" Elijah then says with a bit of hesitation at the end
