━━━━━━━━━━ You are standing in Alaric's apartment with him, Damon and Stefan as you all make new stakes out of the oak wood.

Elena is walking up the stairs towards the apartment door with two cups of coffee and a bag of food in her hands.

Elena then knocks on the door with Damon opening it as you stick back with Stefan and Alaric.

"Morning, sister-in-law" Damon says with a small chuckle

"Hey. How's Alaric?" Elena asks him

"Indecent, but fine"

"So then does that mean there were no issues last night?" Elena asks

"Nope. Slept like a baby. Woke up Alaric. No headlines about dead council members" Damon tells her

"Then why do I feel like you're hiding something from me?" Elena asks him

"Well, maybe because you're being all paranoid and control freak-y. What'd you bring me?" Damon asks grabbing the bag and opening it up "Chocolate muffins. You know what they say... the way to a psycho killer's heart is through his stomach"

"They're not for you" Elena says taking the bag back

"Fine. But sadly, Ric's going to have to pass on Elena time today. You know, lockdown and all" Damon says giving her a smile

"Just take it, give it to him and tell him that I miss him, okay?" Elena says handing him the coffee and bag

"With pleasure" Damkn says and try's to shut fhe door

"Where is (y/n)?" Elena then asks him

"She's going to see Caroline. By now" Damon says and shuts the door on her

Damon turns around and walks over to you handing you the bag of muffins as he listens to Elena leave.

"Walking down the stairs. Opening front door and... She's gone"

Alaric goes back to sawing the wickery bridge sign as damon is whittling a stake and Stefan hands him one back.

"Needs to have a sharper point" Stefan tells him

"Got it" Damon nods his head

"Finally have our own stakes to kill an original. I'm not going to miss because you can't whittle" Stefan snaps at him

"I said I got it. Stop micro managing" Damon tells him

"Muffin?" you ask with a smile making them turn to you

"Looks like you guys got this under control. I'm going to call the sheriff. I want to turn myself in" Alaric says standing up

"No, you don't" Damon says looking up at him
