"So Alaric is trying to pull himself together? Why is that a bad thing?" Caroline asks you

"Just I wish there was something I could do" you say with a sigh

You hold up a chandelier making you confused as this is something Caroline wouldn't pick.

"Where do you want me to hang this thing?" you ask her

"You know what? If Rebekah wanted to hang this monstrosity, she should have shown up to do it herself" Caroline says taking it off of you and handing it to someone else "Just no"

You laugh at your friends reaction before looking over at Jeremy and Matt who are hanging up decorations.

"What are you doing? You can't just hang them. They're supposed to trickle down" Caroline snaps at them making you laugh more "Look at them all bromancey"

"Yeah, I asked Matt to help Jeremy readjust. He got him his old job back at the grill" you say with a smile

"That was nice of him" Caroline says with a nod

"Mm-hmm. Jeremy's got a lot on his mind. The whole thing with Alaric has got him really stressed out" you say crossing your arms

"You sure it had nothing to do with witnessing you and Damon getting hot and heavy in a skeevy motel?" Caroline says with a smile

"Nothing he hasn't seen before" you say with a shake of your head "And it was only a kiss"

"So i'm guessing you are bringing him to the dance?" Caroline then asks you

"I just need to ask him. Who knows if he'll say yes" you say with a shrug

"He always does. It's you" Caroline says hitting your shoulder "He's obsessed with you"

"What do i owe talking to you while you are at school, my darling?" Damon asks as he answers the phone to you

"Maybe i just missed you" you say leaning on your locker

"Baby, you never call me while you're at school. You even get mad when i call you" Damon says with a chuckle "What do you need?"
