━━━━━━━━━━ "Have you heard from Caroline? Anything about Bonnie and her mum?" Elena asks walking into the kitchen with you

"Caroline said they went to her mums house and she's going to complete the transition" you tell her

"She decided to become a vampire?" Elena asks a little shocked

"Yeah. Caroline's gonna help her through it, teach her control and stuff" you say with a sigh

You feel you phone start to ring and pull it out of your pocket to see it's Sheriff Forbes calling you.

You and Elena walk into the Sheiffs department to see Damon walking towards with a concerned look on his face as he stops in front of you.

"Were you just with-"

"Ric's fine. Sheriff wants me to stay out of it" Damon cuts Elena off

"But you're not going to, are you?" you ask him

"Seems just as good a plan as any" Damon says with a shrug

"Your friend's in jail for murder. You have to do something" you say to him

"Well, I guess I could rip out Dr. False Accusation's throat or maybe her tongue. You know, I could chew it up in little, tiny pieces and feed it to the squirrels" Damon says making you roll your eyes

"Stop it, Damon" Elena says annoyed

"Guess me staying out of it suddenly sounds like a good idea, doesn't it? I saved your life last night. You're welcome" Damon says looking at her

"You know, you could show a little compassion about Bonnie" Elena says crossing her arms

"I know. You're right. Her and her mom must be really hurting right now. Should I send lasagna?" Damon says sarcastically

"Okay, now you're just being mean" you say grabbing his arm and pulling him away from Elean "What's wrong?"

"I'm just pissed off" Damon says shrugging his shoulders

"Really? That's all?" you ask him

"Just, they aren't believing him and it's just making me angry" Damon says rubbing his forehead "I need to get out of here. Come with me?"

"I need to talk to the Sheriff" you say making Damon groan annoyed "I'll call you later, okay?"

Damon places his hands on your face softly before leaning in to place a couple of kisses on your lips.

"I love you" Damon says onto your lips "I'll be expecting a call"

"I love you too" you say with a chuckle
