Damon walks in with a plate of cheese, strawberries and crackers when his phone starts to ring.

"You're interrupting my date" he says as he answers the phone

"Miss me?" Katherine answers from the other end

"Katherine. Where are you?" Damon asks as you get off the latter

"Lurking outside your window, pining away"

"What do you want?" Damon asks annoyed putting the phone on speaker

"I'm homesick. What have I missed?" Katherine asks as you place two books down

"Well, Stefan's still Klaus' little prisoner and Elena still thinks she can save him" Damon tells her

"And no one's thought about you since you left" you add on at the end

"Hello little miss lover, still with my leftovers?" Katherine asks making you roll your eyes

"Tell me, are you still obsessing and stalking a man that will never have you again? Or have you moved on to the next victim?" you ask her making Damon smirk as he leans back on the lounge

"I'm sure now that you've given up on your brother
now, Damon" Katherine says changing the subject

"I didn't give up on him. I just don't know where he is" Damon tells her as you sit down next to him

"Hmm"

"But you do. Are you trailing them?" you ask her leaning forward closer to the phone

"A hybrid who wants me dead and his sidekick who's off the rails? I couldn't be further away"

"Which means you know exactly where they are" Damon says moving his hand up your back

"All I know is that Klaus pitched a fit once his hybrids didn't work. Now he's looking for some answers" Katherine says making you sigh

"How do you know that?" you ask her

"Spend 500 years running, and there will be a few people along the way that are looking out for you"  Katherine says making you and Damon give each other a look
