━━━━━━━━━━ You stand looking in at Jeremy sleeping as the sun shines in on him, you shut his door and turn to see Jenna's bedroom door open.

You move to look inside taking in a deep breath before shutting the door and moving to your bedroom to see Damon waiting for you.

"That'll get easier. But you knew that" Damon tells you

"Where have you been?" you ask him

"I'm sorry, i know-"

"I needed you, Damon. I need you" you say cutting him off

"I know and i'm here to apologise" he says grabbing your face in his hands "I shouldn't have left you. Leaving you that day was my worst mistake"

"It's okay, it wouldn't of made a difference" you say grabbing onto his wrists

"Yes it would have, it would of made a lot difference" he says with tears in his eyes "And I know I don't deserve your forgiveness, but... I need it"

"Are you okay?" you ask him "You know i will always forgive you?" you ask him

"Do you? Forgive me?" Damon asks leaning his forehead on yours

"Of course i do"

Damon smiles with a small chuckle before being his lips in to met yours.

"Damon, are you okay?" you ask pulling away from his lips

"Yes, i'm perfectly fine" Damon answers before kissing your lips again

You walk with Elena and Jeremy into the town square where there is a special screening of Gone with the Wind.

"You brought me to see a girls movie" Jeremy says with a chuckle

"We had to get out of the house, Jer. This is our 3-hour distraction from reality" you tell him

"Is that what we're doing? Pretending like our lives aren't screwed?" he asks you as they stop in a empty spot on the grass

"We need to do this, okay? Breathe, eat, sleep, wake up, and do it all over again until one day, it's just not as hard anymore" Elena tells them
