"It's so hard to see him locked up like this" Elena says sadly

"You're the one who locked him up" Damon says as he leans on the wall behind them

"You helped" you tell him

"I couldn't have him chewing on people while the town was looking for vampires, could i?" Damon asks you

"Nothing to do with you caring about him" Elena says to him

"Your thing, not mine" he says then walks upstairs with you following

"What?" Damon asks answering the phone

"I'm grabbing some clothes, then i'll be right over. How's Stefan?" Elena asks him

"Extra broody. Hold on" Damon tells her "He won't eat anything" he says as he sits down

"He has to eat. What's his favourite kind of, um...?"

"He's favourite kind of what?" Damon asks

"Type of animal blood that he prefers?" Elena asks as you walk in to her room

"Ew. Gross" Damon jokes

"Your joking doesn't help" Elena says annoyed as you hand her your top she was asking for "Thank you"

"Who are you thanking?" Damon asks her

"Ooh, put her on" Damon tells her smiling and Elena hands you the phone

"How can i help?" you ask putting the phone to your ear

"Wanna come on a little road trip with Rick and i?" Damon asks you

"I guess, where are we going?" you ask him as Elena grabs something out of her closet

"You'll see. Now, hurry up. We gotta go" Damon tells you

"Yea, yes. We are coming" you say hanging up the phone and giving it back to Elena and the two of you turn around to see Uncle John standing at the doorway making the two of you jump
