It was weird that Namjoon was rather cold the rest of the night after he had gotten off of his phone, as if he had gotten upsetting news, but you were too cheery to question it, still so high off of the serotonin. Plus, this behavior from him was normal, one minute he was happy, the next one he was cold and self-conceited; it wasn't odd for this to occur.

Although, when you wanted to go check the house out, you asked him to go with you, he just looked at you, a sense of guilt in his eyes. He was good at masking his emotions from strangers, but you knew that look all too well.

"Let's go. This place is huge; we need to go sneak off and check it out," you said, slightly tipsy.

You tugged on his arm, despite his ambivalence, and he sighed raggedly. "Fine."

The sigh seemed somewhat irritated, as if he was sick of you, and you let him go, worried that you were a little too hyper - a little too annoying. That guilt in his eyes was now gone, as you looked back into them, replaced by anger. "You don't have to."

It hit him then that he was being an ass, your apology hurting, and he felt bad. He was angry, yes, but not at you - he was mad at himself. He grabbed your chin with his thumb and forefinger before pulling you in to kiss him softly. His lips were gentle and tasted good making an apology towards you, and you pulled away with a small smile.

You were so cute. How could he be a dick and you still put on a smile, as if you actually enjoyed his presence? Why did you care for him?

"No, let's go," he assured, that anger leaving and that guilt making a reappearance on his face; this time even worse than before. "This place is big, but I know my way around."

You grinned, nearly from ear to ear, he would've said, and he felt himself smile too. You really were contagious, your smiles and all.

He stood up and walked ahead of you, grabbing your hand to lead you around. He took you through the crowd, to a rather hidden stairway. Starting up those stairs, he looked back at you. "You need to see this."

You didn't know if you should be worried or excited, especially since Namjoon seemed really giddy.

"What is it?" You asked.

"Just wait," he called back, fastening his pace upstairs.

The area at the top of the stairs was secluded, nobody in the hallway, just a bunch of rooms in a bright, single corridor. It just seemed like a normal hallway, and that is what confused you. What was in those rooms that he was so excited to show you?
