During the ride back to Namjoon's place - probably an hour after your little moment on the balcony. Your head rest on his shoulder, his arm around your waist, holding you against him. His jacket was still on you, keeping you warm, despite the fact that you had offered it back to him, not needing it in the heated car.

His excuse for not taking it back was that "you were more exposed" than he was, and he refused.

It was cute, his denial, but not as cute as his face was.

He was falling asleep above you, head drooping low, eyes falling. His breathing was long and soft. There were moments where he'd fall asleep and wake up when the car hit a bump, or he'd remember that you were there below him. It was cute, but you didn't understand why he wouldn't let himself rest.

"Take a nap," you said up to him, making his eyes shoot open tiredly. "I can tell you're sleepy."

To that, he smiled down at you, tracing his thumb lightly over the dip of your hip before resting his head against the window. He just needed that assurance that you were okay with it before doing so.

You looked up at him as he rested, his eyes closed, body drifting off nearly as soon as his head was stationed.

He was so handsome.

Slowly, your eyes traced over his every feature, delicately admiring him. His honey-tanned, dewy skin, his soft, yet sexy features, his cushioned lips, and his gorgeous mono lidded eyes. He was perfect, but you knew there was no way he'd ever let you express that to him.

You sighed.

Why did he have to be so difficult?

You swore up and down to yourself that you would make him love you, but it wasn't working out. Nothing was working. Every time you thought you took a step forward, you would be shoved right back by Namjoon's hard shell, your ego being rubbed in your face.

It was so irritating.

You wished you could just crawl in his mind and figure out what he was feeling. You wanted to know, but it wasn't possible.

"With the way he's been acting lately, as much as he'd want to deny, I think he loves you the same way."

That replayed over and over in your head. You wanted to believe so, there was no one better to believe than his best friend, but it was so hard to think so. He just didn't act like he did.
