Your career was your pride and joy. Not because it paid a lot, or because it was a fun, carefree job (being a disregarded secretary was anything but fun) It was more having the title of working for The Kim's.

The Kim's were the most notorious, rich family in the entirety of Seoul, cliché, but hear me out, and working at their office gave you a sense of kingship. You told people you were secretary, they'd nod it off as a regular, boring office job, but add "for the Kim's" and it was a lot more serious.

It wasn't always like this, the Kim's being the biggest. In fact, only a few years back, Min's office was the biggest, and had been for the past 20 years.

Min Yoongi and his brother were musical prodigies per-say. Yoongi's brother had brought about the business label, and then had handed it off to his younger brother a few years back when Yoongi turned 22. Yoongi had went to college before all of this and got his degree and began running the business.

The desire for jobs at Min's office dropped whenever a knew business came and surpassed them; to this day nobody knows why. People assumed The Kim's had some sort of way that wasn't exactly legal.

Yoongi wasn't too fazed by the fact there was a company larger than his own, especially since there was such a high demand to work at the two offices that both were full of employees and applicants.

Long story short, it was amazing getting a job at Mr. Kim's office, people looking at you differently as they knew who you worked for.

But the recognition was the only good thing that came out of that hell hole.

Mr. Kim was the most unbearable human on the face of the earth. He was a dick - more than that. He was nothing short of a sack of potatoes - potatoes are gross. Sorry.

Being the owner, you'd think he'd have a lot of responsibilities, and that would be correct, but it wasn't himself that took care of those duties. It was his son, "assistant", which basically did everything for him. It was insane how lousy this man was, sitting on his ass all day while his son basically took care of two shifts.

And despite barely being the owner, he had balls, scolding anyone who merely got in his way. He would fire people for no reason other than someone that had given in a resume had better stats or a higher degree than them. Is that even legal? Probably not, but nobody could say anything. Everybody at the office had it rough, but Mr. Kim's main target, was you.

You got picked on a lot by him, as he knew you wouldn't quit no matter what he put you through. He knew your past - what your home life was like - so he knew just how to get to you. He would call you up to his office nearly every day to discuss something you had done wrong or to give you another task or extra hours.
