Even though you had Namjoon's number, you hadn't texted him since Wednesday when all he said were the details of the party. You weren't one to initiate conversation, and he hadn't called you to talk, so nothing else happened.

That scared you, because even though it had only been two days since you two had talked, you were extremely desperate for an answer about Mr. Min's job offer for you. Namjoon was a busy guy, and you knew, yet you still wanted an answer. Not to mention, you were about to go to his house. What if he forgot about you completely, and you embarrassed yourself?

But you were about to see him, so you could ask. His party started in less than an hour, and you were still getting ready, wandering around your apartment to kill time since you had gotten ready far too early. You had put a sexy dress on. A simple red tube dress, but it was enough for this. And had done your makeup and hair up more than you probably ever had.

You looked hot, and you admitted that. And that's where the lack of confidence came. What if you were overdoing it?

You shook your head. This wasn't overdoing it. It's a party. You couldn't just show up in sweats and a tank top.

Whatever. If I overdid it, it doesn't matter.

And you took one last reassuring glance at yourself in the mirror before slipping your cross-bag over your shoulder and walking out towards the elevator of your complex.

It wasn't hard to get to Namjoon's mansion - and it was a mansion; like you expected - from your apartment. But you did hesitate before getting out of your car and walking up to the house to open the front door, not wanting to be at the wrong place and just burst into someones family dinner.

The booming music from inside the mansion and amount of cars in the driveway should've been a dead giveaway that it was his house, but you were a prime overthinker.

You opened the big door.

You didn't know what you were expecting when you thought about the party, but it wasn't this.

You were expecting more of a modern, sleek, Korean mansion, but you got hit with Beverly Hills, 19-50s actor instead. Marble and gold everywhere. It wasn't overdone, though, somehow. It was modern outside, Hollywood inside. Even more so with the chauffeur that greeted you and took your coat.

But mostly, you weren't expecting Namjoon to be waiting specifically for you near the front door in the crowd, making his way through the partying people to see you as soon as he caught note you were there.
